Fantasmic Thread!

I think F! will be showing on Friday Sept. 6th, Saturday Sept 7th and Sunday Sept 9th. Are you looking to book a F! Package for one of those dates?
Last time there were dates slashed out, it lasted for four days. If that's the case here I have one shot at Premium rather than three. Time will tell.

I have done BB package a few times. You also realize that you have to check in at the area at 8pm and you have to sit in the ground for 1 hour before the show starts.

I am doing the RB premium package in August. I usually eat at BB twice every trip for the food and atmosphere.

I like that the RB you don’t waste time. You check in at 715. Table are reassigned by the time stamp you booked your reservation.
We did the BB package a few weeks ago. I had my elderly parents with me, and they could only walk fast enough to enter the viewing area at 8:45pm. The show starts at 9pm. We were on the second to last row of the section, but the view was great. So you don’t have to check in at 8pm and sit for an hour. 8pm is the earliest you can check in and sit in the area, not the latest. They told us to check in no later than 845pm when we got the passes at BB that day.

I'm glad that you and your parents were able to enjoy the show.

People don't need to arrive by 8 pm, but 8 pm is not the earliest they can arrive.

I watched Fantasmic from the River Belle seating on May 24 and from the Rancho del Zocalo seating on July 4. On both days, the first in line started lining up 2 hours before the show began. Both times, CM walked guests to their seats before 8 pm. On May 24, they started walking guests to the seats at 7:45 pm. On July 4, they walked all three lines forward from Harbour Galley to a second taped off area at the start of the stairs at 7:20 pm. At 7:50 pm, they started walking guests to their seats.

I'm sharing because for some people, it is important sit in the front. If so, they may want to arrive earlier. Others would rather arrive later. There is no wrong choice.

I'll add that both days that I watched from the dining package seats, as well as the day that I watched from the Pirate's bridge, the BB area was less crowded than either the RB or RDZ areas.

For me it is all about time, as an out of town visitor, I would always get there at 8pm for a first row seat. I am glad you had a good spot and got there later. I am trying the River Belle premium package next month. Honestly, I am tired of sitting on the ground, I have seen the 2024 F! show online many times and want to try the premium package. By doing premium, I have dinner, see a show and then the fireworks in 2 hours or so. Right at my own table with food and drink and most importantly a chair.

I was just at RDZ on Friday night 7/5 for the 9:00 pm show. We arrived at 8:00 and were in the middle of the section at the railing. People showed up at 8:15 and sat at the railing on the left side of the section. At 8:30, there was still plenty of seating. They asked people to move forward several times so people could sit in the back of the section. I think even if you showed up at 8:45, there was still space, but maybe not 4 immediately adjacent to each other if you have a larger party.

I decided to get there early as this way my 5 year old could stand at the railing for fireworks and projections so I wouldn't have to hold him. I would actually prefer to sit a bit back from the railing for Fantasmic itself.

If you are able to do the 10:30 show, there was ample standby viewing available every night at show time on the upper level in front of the HM construction walls/Tiana's Palace/Cafe Orleans.

Interesting note, apparently one of Mickey's finger fireworks malfunctioned at our show. I saw one didn't work, but didn't realize it apparently malfunctioned earlier on! I've read a few articles about it since.

I am not a big fan of Together Forever. I wish they'd bring back Wondrous Journeys, Disneyland Forever, or Remember Dreams Come True!

I saw video of the earlier malfunction. I didn't realize that it happened at the 2nd show as well.

I was at the first show when it happened. I don't believe it happened at the second show. Sorry for any confusion!

THANK YOU for this detailed info!! I didn’t see anything other than when we walked up, so this is super info for those wanting the railing area!

I also wanted to mention that when we sat down at 8:00 the ground was still very warm from the sun beating down on it all day. It was warmer on Friday, around 85, but probably still true on most summer/fall days. The weather itself was pleasant, but it's a good idea to bring a jacket or blanket to sit on so the warm ground isn't heating you up while waiting!

FYI for anyone trying for "Premium"
I got as far as clicking on the "7:15pm" button before the website said, "No availability for that time". I sat there repeatedly hitting the "7:15pm" button and after about 2min it let me in to make the reservation. If that happens to you, don't refresh the screen, keep mashing that "7:15pm" button.

Also, after many days of trying, I've seen spaces for premium (and Blue Bayou) re-open between 6:05 and 6:15'ish AM due (I'm guessing) to people like me practicing for later dates and getting as far as being asking for a card to hold the reservation and then closing the window.

Good info, thanks. Were you using the DL website or the mobile app?

With a late Fantasmic Package at BB, like after 7 pm, is there enough time to make it to the show in time without having to rush during dinner?

If you want a seat at the water that will be hard

If you don't care where you stand then your good.
