We have used the fantasmic dinning package in the past and thought it was great. We will be on the dinning plan this time so cannot do the FDP, we will also not be eating at the restaurants that offer it. When is the best time to go in and how long do you have to wait. Do you really need to line up a couple hours before? We have a very inpatient 3 year old and even though we are working on this, he cannot handle 2hours of waiting. We are traveling with other adults who would love a break are they allowed to save seats and we could com in closer to the show? I need some help planning this. :confused3 Thanks.

I assume you're going in October based on your signature and if you are talking about October, for the most part, you should be able to get there about 25-30 minutes before showtime and get a seat. October isn't a very busy month (minus perhaps Halloween & Columbus day weekends) so there isn't a need to get there ridiuculously early.

Are there two showings of Fantasmic during the time that you're going? If there are I'd definitely recommend going to the second one. They only filled the place about 1/2 full during the second showing last week. If not, I'd recommend lining up about 45 min beforehand. If you can't do that with the little one, maybe one of you can take him to some of the shops to keep him entertained while the other goes with the other adults to get seats. That way they'd really only be saving one seat since the little one can sit on a lap.

The night we are wanting to go is also MNSSHP at MK would this effect it one way or another?

I think there might be a little less of a line than normal, but I wouldn't count on it. I'd just plan to be in the area of the Hollywood Hills Theater about 45 minutes before showtime and just line up when you see a crowd. Maybe getting your little guy one of those light up toys will keep him entertained. Or, better yet, bring one from Walmart/Target for much cheaper. :goodvibes

I don't think holding a seat or two at that time will be a big deal. It probably won't even look like a seat is being held if the people doing the holding leave some space in between themselves. BTW, if you can, front and center is the best, IMHO. :earsboy:
