can somebody tell me what the fantasmic dinner package is and how it is used with disney dining.
I didin't put this on another thread because it takes a long time to get an answer on the other boards.

dh and i are doing an adult only trip at the end of august. We've never seen fantasmic. Is this a worthwhile thing to do? Otherwise these probably aren't restaurants I'd chosse to use our disney dining plan on.

It is a really good show, and yes, worth seeing.

But you don't have to do the dining plan, the stadium holds 7000 people. You can see the show by just getting in line at the normal entrance and finding a seat. I have seen the show 3 times, once in the far left and twice in the reserved section, far right. ALl seats are great.

I agree with Marsha, well worth seeing, a great show, and no real need to do the dinner deal. Best to get there about 45 minutes before the show. If you want to stay dry, stay away from the first half dozen or so rows, more if windy. Enjoy.

If you do decide to do the package, the Brown Derby is a wonderful restaurant. We chose it twice on recent trips and had fabulous meals. Sure beats standing in a line with 5000 other people for an hour or more!!!!!
