We want to see Fantamsic for the first time (yikes, cannot believe we have not seen it yet) in December. While we do want to eat at the various establishments, we are trying to figure out which package gives the best value for the $$$ spent.

There are 3 packages that I have found and trying to figure out if they the same reserved seats.

- Blue Bayou - This one is the most expensive and says that they offer a FP ticket to a reserved area

- River Belle - Middle of the road in cost, but also says that there are FP tickets to a reserved area.

Lastly

- Aladdin Oasis - This the least expensive of the 3, yet still offers a FP to a reserved area.

Are the PF tickets to the same reserved area, or are there tiers of FP reserved areas.

Both the Blue Bayou and River Belle's packages appear to have an extra cost associated with them to get seating in the reserved area, where the Aladdin is considerably less expensive.

There are different sections for each restaurant (if you search online, there are maps showing the different locations). We did the Blue Bayou package in February, and it was the perfect viewing location- front and center. We arrived about 20 minutes before the show started and were able to sit right in the front. This package also includes a little souvenir seat cushion, which was nice to use for the show. Although it's the most expensive, I will definitely stick with the Blue Bayou for future shows as well. Plus, I love the ambiance of the restaurant.

I didn't see the maps, I will have to go in and look some more...

Aladdin's Oasis just gives you a FP that you could get at the machine. No special viewing area just for them.
We have done BB twice and have really enjoyed it. We had a great view with very little wait.
We will try RBT this November.

I did the RBT F package about 3 weeks ago. The BB and RBT were seated in the same section. We all had to sit on the concrete. The BB package gave you a cushion whereas the RBT didn't. There's a pic of that cushion in the link from the previous poster. I brought our self-inflating seat cushion and that kept our bottoms from being too sore from the concrete seating.

I did the Blue Bayou Fantasmic Package in June 2015

This is the menu

When you are brought to your table, there is a cushion for each each person in your party

When you pay at the end of the meal you get a Fast Pass Ticket for the special viewing area. This viewing area is right down at the railings , directing infront of the stage.

Can I stand in the back of the viewing area. This old body cannot sit on the ground.

Not sure about that. There is a wheelchair / ECV parking area at the back of the viewing area and another viewing area behind that. Maybe they want people to sit in the front section so that people in the second section can see. You could always ask a CM, they might let you stand at the edge or corner :)

both the Blue Bayou and River Belle Terrace are in the same viewing area. There was some wheelchairs and ECV parked at the back of the viewing area. No idea which restaurant they had eaten at :)

Thanks for the responses.... Just the type of information I was looking for.

Looks like it is the BB package for us!

Is the seat cushion one you can keep, or is it returned at the end of the event?

You keep it. :) Fantasmic was on at 9pm, we had a dinner reservation for 6.30pm. The ticket says be at the viewing area 15 minutes before the show BUT depending on how busy the park is, it starts to fill up by 8pm. We just wandered around the shops in New Orleans Square after our meal and we at the viewing area around 8pm. We were in the centre almost at the railings and by the time it started, the viewing area was full
