Fantasmic Package on Christmas?

I called today to see if we could book a Fantasmic package for Christmas, and was told the only thing available was Mama Melrose at 2:30. I know Christmas week is crazy busy, but is it normal for packages to fill up so quickly? This is our first time going to WDW at Christmas so I have no idea.

It's normal for them to fill up quickly even when it isn't Christmas, as a limited number of packages are offered.

I thought Fantasmic Dinner Packages were available 90 days in advance? Can I now book for December?

Yes, they are bookable at 180 days out. The online system only shows thru August but you can call & set up your package over the phone.

Dec. 25th, there will be two fantasmic! shows. The Fantasmic! dining can only be reserved for the first showtime so, the reservations for that day will be at lunch-late lunch times. I wanted H&V, too...buffets work better for our kids! But, we'll be trying Mama's! It actually worked out to my benefit because I was able to then book H&V for breakfast on Christmas at 8am so that I can get into the park early!
