Fantasmic/Osborne Lights meet - Updated 11/11/02

As an alternative to DATW IV, a few of us will be going from Dave H's Prime Time Meet over to see Fantasmic and possibly the Osborne Lights before heading over to Kimono's for Karaoke. This will be on Thursday, December 5th around 5:30 pm in front of the Fantasmic theater (can't remember the name off the top of my head).

Anyway, if you're interested in joining us, enter and sign in please!

Hi, Dan! Yes it is, as of today.

I am seriously thinking about this Steve. Since I'm already in the MGM themepark that day, I was thinking of going to the 6:00 P.M. Fantasmic show, then walk over to the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights show.

After that, there is a WDW boat launch to the beautiful Swan Resort's Kimono's Karaoke bar.

Or I could take the WDW boat launch over to EPCOT(~8:30 P.M.) and try to catch up with the DATW-IV mini-meet and maybe watch Illuminations before going to Kimono's.

Decisions...decisions...lol

I would love to see the Osborne lights with a group of DISers.

Dan, Steve is talking about doing this after Dave's huge PT meet that is already set.

Ray, I like that idea. Do Fantasmic and the Osborne Lights, then head over to catch the tail end of DATW and then hit Kimono's. Sounds like an awesome plan to me!!!!!

Find someone else to host Drink Around The World so I can hang out with friends at the Osborne Lights and Fantasmic on Thursday night.

There's so much going on Thursday that I'm tempted to cancel DATW and just stay at MGM. It makes more sense to do that. I guess it's something we should seriously consider.

Dan, Dave's Prime Time meet has been changed to 3:30pm, that is how we are able to do Fantasmic and the Osbourne Lights around 5:30. Come along big guy!

I REALLY want to see the Osborne Lights...and Fantasmic with a group would be fun, too. And since I'm not an imbiber of alcoholic beverages...I too may skip most of DATW to stay at MGM.

This sounds like a great plan. Last evening I sat down with pen and paper ----worked for some time trying to get Fantasmic and Osborne lights scheduled somewhere during my stay. I was resigned to the fact I'd be doing both on my own one evening....and yes, Thursday seemed to make the most sense. I hadn't made plans on the Prime time meet......hadn't really given it much thought. Is the dinner scheduled for the Fantasmic seating? Maybe I need to reconsider----Could you link me to the information. Thanks in advance----But no matter count me in for the two shows.....

Oh, I'm getting chills just thinking of all the fun I'm going to be experiencing. OK I feel a little bad the rest of the family is going to be home. Being the sweet person I am I've promised pictures to share with the family ---pictures of ME having FUN. John, I'm sure you can find someone to step up and take the helm. It would be so cool if you'd join us. I do hope to catch up to the DATW gang at the end, like we did last year. I really do love Fantasmic and the Osborne Lights, so I would hate to miss them.

Pattty, we're not doing the Fantasmic Dinner Package. We're just eating at Prime Time and then heading over to invade on our own. The meal is at 3:30, after that we'll head over to Fantasmic, followed by a walk through the Lights. I can't wait. either. I need to do what you did-sit down and make up a schedule and see what I'm doing when and where. That way I'll know if I have time to do it all or not!!!!!!!!

Wow...I thought that I was the only one that wanted to do Fantasmic and the Osborne lights!

I hope that we can still catch up with the DATW-IV group. We could head to the U.S.A. pavillion to catch up with them and maybe hear some of U.S.A. singers and maybe see the U.S.A. flag that was at the September 11, 2001 Twin Towers terrorist attack, or listen to some of the Candlelight Processional music from the outside and then Illuminations at 9:30 P.M..

I would have liked to do the whole DATW-IV mini-meet, too.

I remember watching "What's My Line" on black and white television, back in the Jurassic Period when dinosaurs ruled the earth. You wouldn't remember, Tia dear...you were still learning to hula in heaven.

I still watch this on re-runs real late at night on the Gameshow Network.

They show all of the following in black & White starting at 2 or 3 AM CDT

I think the show the color ones sometime during the day, I am not sure.
