Is the Fantasmic FP+ only available at the kiosks in the park? When I try to book my FP+ on MDE there is no choice for Fantasmic. I will be traveling with a little one so we dont really have many good choices for FP+ for DHS.
Also, are the seats for the Fantasmic FP+decent? And it is my understanding that even if you do get the FP+ you still need to arrive 30-45min early for the show, correct?

No, I booked it online for next month on MDE. The FP will tell you what time to arrive, but it is before the show. They need time to get everyone in and seated before it starts.

FP+ for F! are available in advance or in-park, day-of, like any other FP+.

What a FP+ for F! offers is more CHOICE in seating.

If you DO get a F! FP+, you can choose to sit in either the FP section (virtually the entire left half of the theater) or the Standby section (virtually the entire right half of the theater.)

So, whatever section has the better seating at the time you arrive, you can go there.

Without a FP, you can only choose a seat in the Standby section.

There is a very good chance that you can get a FP+ for F! as a 4th or 5th FP of the day because they issue SO MANY of them (enough to cover nearly the entire left half of the seating.) On many nights, it is possible that you can gat a FP+ for F! as you are walking to the theater.

As to when to arrive at the theater, I'd get to there 45-60 minutes before the show-time.

Even with a FP or Dining Pkg. reservation, don't wait too late.

On busy nights, the CMs can stop holding the reserved sections within 20-30 minutes before show-time, and turn over any available seats to waiting walk-in guests.

There is sometimes a "pre-show" (such as it is) that can help pass the last 30 minutes before show time.

...are the seats for the Fantasmic FP+decent?
Actually all the seats are good at this venue. The show is projected on to three identical water screens, so can be seen equally well from all locations. The only marginal seating might be the lower rows, close to the water. On breezy/windy evenings, if the wind is blowing toward the audience, you may get damp/wet/soaked. Not bad maybe on a hot July evening, not so good if chilly/cold out, or, if you just don't want to get wet.

Do you already have a Tier 1 reserved? That may be why it no longer shows. Agree with others though you should easily get one for your 4th FPP that day - just be sure to use or pass the windows of two Tier 2's as well so you're eligible.

I am not the OP, but this is very helpful. Thank you!
