Fantasmic dinner pkg?

I want to book the fantasmic pkg for HW&V. Do you actually pre-pay for the meal or just hold it with a credit card? I have vouchers and Disney Dollars for all of our meals so I really don't want to have to charge that meal.

Credit card is just a hold and there's a 48 hour cancellation penality. My family loved this meal.

Did you all do the FDP at Hollywood and Vine? I hope so. I have it booked for Nov., but was having second thoughts since some of the comments I read about the food were pretty iffy. It would be nice to hear someone who had a good experience there.

one was a vegetarian.....one a dieter....one 85 year old diabetic....hubby and moi and the grandkids........we had a good experience......loved it ......not one complaint from all the different eaters.......when hubby and I go alone we always go there too.....and do it for the Fantasmic pkg.....hope you try it and enjoy it like we all did

We, too have done this package and done it with picky eaters of all ages! We all loved it - lots of variety and a fun atmosphere to get you in the mood for a great night at Fantasmic! Two thumbs up!

For SB in Ky we are a family of five, 3 ds who are 15,13 and 11 (he is the picky one). We did the FDP at H and V on Aug 12. The restraunt was sold out that night and no one was being let in without a PS. We have eaten there before and dont have any complaints. I like the prime rib. Its already pre sliced. Everything we had was very good. I cant remember it all but we all left stuffed and ready to walk around. Its a good value for the money. They have kids offerings. My only complaint was that we felt a little squished. We sat at a table which was really for 4 and ds 15 had a chair at the end. He is tall, 6 foot so it was a little hard for him to keep moving his chair in when people kept walking by to get to the buffet. I noticed this with others too. If you have more than 4 it seems like you are a little squished. We used to eat there with the characters and we usually sat on the other side of the restraunt so its hard to say if they added more chairs/tables to accomodate the volume but it seems that they did. You will enjoy it. My only advice is to go to fantasmic early to get your seats as even though it is a reserved section it is still first come, first seated.
