We are heading to MGM on the Wed before thanksgiving...do you think it is worth it to do a dinner pkg to get the reserved seating or can you still get decent seats 30 min or so before the show? :bounce:

We went once without the package and it was crowded even 30 minutes before Fantasmic. From that point, we did the package and never had a problem getting up close again. I think it's good to go with the package especially if you have kids so they can see better. We go to H&V because the buffet is pretty good and there is sure to be some foods to satisfy each person in our party.

Hi
I never went around Thanksgiving so I don't know how crowded it is, but I've done the dinner package twice and think it was so worth it. In August, we went to Mama Melroses and showed up about 15 minutes before Fantasmic was going to start, cutting it a little close, and had great seats. We went 2 years ago without the package and to get good seats we got there an hour early. It was ok to relax there, but I didn't have any llittle children waiting with us for the show to start, so it was ok. In August, I had my DGD 3 1/2 and it was better that we didn't have to wait as she can become inpatient sometimes.

Have you tried for ADRs? When I made my ADR back in August for that week, all I could get was H&V at 4:20 PM.
