Fantasmic Dinner Package... which restaurant?

I'm debating over H&V or MM....

It's me and my 5 year old... I would love MM but not sure what my daughter would eat... also is it too much food for one adult? Would I still get a flatbread being it is just me?

I know at H&V I could find food for her to eat...

What's a mom to do????

I like doing the dinner package at H&V. I really like the selection of food there, and the dessert bar is a lot of fun (I love making my own sundae).

As for MM, I thought it was good, but it is a lot of food. I don't like that they make you get tiramasu for dessert--I don't like it. The only other option is a kid sized dish of plain ice cream.

Would your DD eat pasta? I'm sure we got my niece and nephew pasta with sauce on the side when we ate there.

I am going to put in another nod for H&V. It is such a great selection of food there. The kids buffet is great too. For the price, in my opinion, it really can't be beat!

I personally would go with Mama Melrose. Its one of our favorite restaurants. I do agree with what Karen said, it is a lot of food...but its all so good. However we have done it twice and once we got a choice of tiramisu or cheesecake(or icecream) for dessert, and once we had our choice of any dessert on the menu. I think it either depends on your server, or they have changed the procedure.

Yes, you will get a flatbread of your choice for just you. You get 1 for every 4 people. We did it with 5 people and got 2.

Again, Ill agree with Karen that kids can just get plain pasta. My kids are the pickiest around and thats what they get and really enjoy it. They also serve pizza there, if she will eat that. If she wont eat any thing on the menu, then it definitely isnt worth it and then Id go with H&V(although, Ive never tried it before to have an opinion on how it is).

We ate at H&V for our FDP back in July and it was great! Alot of food choices and great prices too! I personnaly think it is worth it if you absolutely want to see Fantasmic.Especially during the peak season.

We also like mama Melrose's but for the price it is great especially with kids..young and old.I thought the dessert table was fantasmic!!!!

We loved Mama Melrose. It was me, DH and DD6. DD had pizza I believe and loved it. We also had any choice from the menu and any choice of dessert. We had the chocolate cake with warm chocolate sauce oozing from it. Boy was that good. Even DD got to have that. We got a flatbread, salad, entree and dessert. Well worth the $ spent.
