Fantasmic! dining package with Dine with Minnie Holiday

Fantasmic! Dining package at Hollywood & Vine for dinner is also Minnie Holiday Dine in late Nov. and Dec.??? So you can have character dining (&holiday theme) plus prefer seating voucher and use only one table service credit per person? Seems like a great idea for usage of DDP.

That is true. I have mine booked for Halloween week (not a Christmas theme, obviously).

Yes, it's a great deal because of the themed characters and Fantasmic preferred seating... but I've had second thoughts about keeping mine for October after reading some of the reviews of H&V. Not very excited about the food now.

Honestly, I'm not excited about any of the buffet meals I have booked because of the food. But I'm super excited just to see my kids having a great time and meeting the characters.

I thought the reviews I'd seen seemed to indicate the food was slightly better at the Minnie character meals compared to before they had characters at H&V dinner.

Maybe? I don't remember reading too many reviews of the food before that happened, I was just going off info from here lately along with some podcasts. I had some friends visit in March as well, but I don't think they were comparing now to then either, they were just disappointed in their experience at H&V overall.

I am going in Nov. ADRs book soon. Is there something special I need to do to get Fantasmic package? Or do I just book a dinner for H&V when ADRs open and it's included? Are there only certain times that will include it? I have been wondering this!

There's a totally separate booking option for the Fantasmic dining package. You have to book your ADR through that page instead of through the restaurant page.

It doesn't always become live at 180 days, you might need to wait a while. But you cannot book a regular reservation and convert it, they are separate "pools" of times.
