FANTASMIC! Dining, Dessert, Fastpass Thread - Q&A Here

My thinking is that there is no availability in July because the MSEP Dining Packages are in full swing and they gobbled up the inventory for those dates because Disney did not hold any back. We will see though if any do become available and how many they have, because the BB can only hold so many regular, MSEP, and F! diners

I think you're right about that. The soonest I was able to locate a BB reservation last night was 08/14. I remember rumors going around that because BB was so popular and most likely already sold out by the time F! returns that they were considering dining packages at Carnation Cafe until MSEP ended. I guess that didn't happen.

I just checked for our visit in August (2-4)...they have RBT and BB as dining options and some Bear thing for 'to go' boxed meals. But it says standing room only...is this worth it??? Will there not be a FAst Pass option for Fantasmic? I just can't see paying $100 (up charge for 5 of us) to get a standing spot, I'd honestly rather do extra rides.

Got through on dining line and the CM couldn't get the system to work. But she told me she'd get my BB reservation changed to Fantasmic even if she had to override later and make an exception. I asked if they were actually all sold out, and she said no and that the system just isn't working right. This was for the end of August.

I'm still on hold. My friend got through and the CM was not able to convert her package for the first night, said there was no availability. Could just be she doesn't know what she is doing.

I'd like to see the menu (or options) for on the go packages, wondering if the food is any different than AO

I was able to book all three options online...if I were going to do it, I'd just cancel my BB and book this...but no way, no how is it worth $425 for the five of us to get a ticket to stand...won't they have Fast Pass options for this that won't be so outrageous? We are going 8/2-4...the first time I checked, just one option, but now all three...at BB, it's $65 per adult (NOT including taxes and gratuity...so just say over $75 pp)...now I am rethinking my BB for dinner on Friday...is lunch just as good and half the price?

They don't show the menu, but I was able to book it for the 2nd, then cancelled bc it's just not worth the crazy price...

I actually booked a regular ADR for River Belle Terrace prior to this release for 7:15pm I wonder if they would let me switch that one over to the Fanrasmic package with the seating option. I'll have to call tomorrow to see.

So my experience was I called having a BB reservation already for July 17th at 4:30 pm. The cast member said that there was no availability for the dining package, however he then said that he would go talk to his lead. He came back and said that he was putting a note on the reservation that it should be a F! package and that that would be enough to get the package. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Got it! Changed my River Belle to a Premium Seating Package for the 17th - the view might suck, but it was either this or nothing, and my friend loves Fantasmic!
