Fantasmic Crowds in Jan?

Any recent visitors wish to comment on Fantasmic crowds in January? I keep reading that you need to show up as much as 60 minutes ahead of time when there is only one daily performance. Is that the case even in January?

I'm not so much concerned with the quality of the seat as I am just being present. There's a 2 year old in our party, and we skipped this last time because we couldn't imagine trying to entertain him for 60 minutes in crowded stadium with 80+ degree temps. The weather isn't as much of a concern this time, but I'd be a lot more comfortable knowing that we could likely walk in 15 minutes before the performance.

Well, I don't know if you could go in fifteen minutes before- but maybe a half hour.... Even if you were there an hour before, the baby does not have to sit down- kids are up all over- just take him to the top of the bleacher area and down towards the end and let him run/play there- that'll keep him busy, or buy one of those spin light toys they sell and let that entertain him forever- they sell refreshments too and there are always CM getting the group to do the wave. WHo knows- maybe he'll be sooooo exhausted from the fun day that he'll just crash!!!

We saw Fantasmic on Friday, Jan. 10th. We arrived approximately 35 minutes before the presentation. We had second row seats in the Pochontas section. There were still many available seats left even 15 minutes before Fantasmic began to the far left of the seating area. It really appeared to me that you could not get a bad seat in this stadium.
We had never seen Fantasmic before and LOVED it! It is definately a must see.

yeah - last Jan we did the dinner package and people that came in WAY after us had much better seats than we did. The dinner package is NOT neccesary - I would say to arrive 20 to 30 minutes prior.
