Fantasmic changing anytime soon?

I was curious and also wanted to get other opinions. Anyone know if fantasmic will be updated or changed anytime soon? If you have any info. Please share. I love fantasmic ,but think it might be time to update it a little maybe add a new show pieces into it.

I totally agree that it's awesome and doesn't need to be changed. I had just heard rumors about maybe world of color at wdw. I love fantasmic it's defiantly a must do every park visit.

I guess this is what I was saying. Keep the same principle of the show and the awesome steamboat willie seen but maybe change a scene or two and update just a little. I have a feeling this will not happen seeing as every time I have ever been it's packed!

It needs TLC and upgrades in technology but not major changes.

As far as WOC don't hold your breath the closest WDW will come any time soon is the tech being used for firework shows at MK.

We enjoy fantasmic so IMHO leave it alone plus each time we see it, its packed.


I know there are rumors of World of Color at WDW, however its not going to happen anytime soon as i have heard its going to be exclusive to DL.

This is definitely my favorite show, but I would love it if they updated the water screen scenes with some newer pixar films, and if they were to do a MAJOR update, I would love to see Carl's house come around the riverbend and slowly rise in to the air at some point.

WOC won't happen at WDW because theres really no where to put it besides EPCOT. When Illuminations is still going strong I don't see them looking to change.

Also Fantasmic is arguably the best of the 3 firework shows so I see no change anytime soon.

Well yes there are places I have seen concept art for WOC in DAK the show would just have it's theme changed to fit DAK. There are plans that I have seen.

That would actually be interesting. I guess I didn't mean lack of space as Disney has plenty of room just lack of a park with night hours that isn't occupied by a good to great show. I would love to see those plans though are they able to be found online?

It would involve the construction of an artificial lake but no I can't post the plans I'll get in trouble.

In fact they already have approved one change to take effect this summer. It's an official name change. It was "Fantasmic" it will now be known as "Not so Fantasmic" ... just to give people a little of the honest perspective Disney is so well known for. No wait. What?

Not sure what makes you say this I think most people love "Fantasmic!". Its kind of old but it's not out of date like some stuff there.

It could be but I doubt you could find it online.
