Not true, you absolutely can do both. As I posted, we've done it more than once. In fact, each time we've done it there has been two CMs at the exit path split point. One with a sign saying "Exit" and an arrow pointing one way. The other with a sign saying "Fireworks" and an arrow pointing the other way.

How is that possible when they both start at the same time?

F! at the top of a given hour.
SW Fireworks/Projections start at the bottom of that same hour.

I’m struggling with the Fantasmic vs Star Wars fireworks as well. I know Fantasmic gets a bad rap for not being as good as Disneyland, but I don’t exactly live near Disneyland and will probably not be there any time soon. On the other hand, both my husband and I love Star Wars, but we’re not super impressed with projection shows. Decisions, decisions...

Right. They're usually 30 minutes apart and F! is a 30 minute show.

Having done the dessert party, it's a tough call. Feeling the heat from the flames in the viewing area is pretty cool, and hanging out with storm troopers while chugging an ice cold yungling, and tamping down pita/hummus/ capicolla sammiches until you're near bursting is pretty cool.

OTOH, I grew up on those old skule Disney movies, so I REALLY like F!. My kids and wife were not too enthused about catching F! again. I think if you are old school disney, you might enjoy F! more than the next person. I'm also a SW fan, but I think the SW party is a one and done for us. DOn't get me wrong, it was awesome!

While we were there they were the exact same time every night.
