:rotfl: I'll let her know :flower:

when euro disney (disneyland paris, whatever!) had just opened i went with my family. we were in this deserted side street and it was really quiet, then we heard this sort of roar coming closer and closer toward us. we turned around and coming round the corner was this huge crowd of people. i was only little and i got swamped by the crowd and ended up in this space in the middle surrounded by huge bouncers. the only other person in the space was michael jackson. no one would believe me until we got photos developed and there he was right next to me. there was a LOT of showing off when i got back to school!

This past Dec. we saw Toby Keith. The ladies next to us were so excited. The one lady was crying and shaking. He was polite.

We were getting on to Test Track yesterday and Big Boi from OutKast was getting off with his family. He has like 4 or 5 kids. No one seemed to notice him but it was definitely him.

TTFN

We saw Caroline Rhea (Sabrina's aunt) at the Indiana Jones ride in DL back in 2001. She was being backdoored on the ride. I recognized her, but didn't make a fuss. I don't think anyone else knew who she was...she was just dressed in regular clothes, no makeup, etc.

I never met anyone AFTER they became famous, but I worked with Caroline when she was in university. She helped me get an apartment in her building, right next door to her. She was alot of fun to work with, very funny girl.

A few years ago, we were watching Illuminations in front of China. Joe Dimaggio got off a double decker bus and 'brushed' past me. He was long gone before I could even say hello.

To be honest i haven't heard of most of the "famous" people listed in this thread, but i don't suppose many people outside of the uk have heard of the "famous" people i have seen at WDW either.

I saw Ian Dowie and Steve Lomas at TL (Northern Ireland international footballers) and i saw Craig Hignett at MK (English footballer).

I can't recall seeing anyone else famous at WDW but did see Hugh Grant and Elizabeth Hurley waiting in line to use an ATM machine on the Kings Road in Chelsea on a trip to London. She is tiny!

This one goes way back in time, remember a time when Disney had the Villas -well it must have been 1986-1988, we were staying at the Disney Villas (hate that they are now gone), rented a golf cart (to drive back and forth to DTD) and one night we were coming back from DTD and another golf cart was approaching us, at first all I could see was a lot of long hair then as he got closer and passed us, waving and saying HI we all realized that it was Alice Cooper. We went back to the Villa and were out on the patio when again here comes Alice Cooper with his family this time, waved again and said HI.

I soo wanted to say something and get an autograph but ex-DH said that we should give him his privacy since he was on vacation with his family. I did sort-of follow his golf cart one day just to see where their Villa was and it was in the building right next to ours.

OK, going way back to my high school days, growing up in Southern California, our school, (Claremont High School) was invited to be one of the choirs to participate in the candlelight processional. Cary Grant was the narrator that year, (I'm guessing 1973 or 1974, could have been 1975). When it was over and we were descending the stairs in front of the Main Street Train Station, Mr. Grant and I kind of bumped into each other, and he said, "Oh, excuse me, great show!" Also, as I posted on the other thread over on the resorts board, I saw 98 Degrees, (Nick Lachey, before marrying Jessica Simpson!) at EPCOT, behind the wall, I think in China. That was 5 or 6 years ago at least. There were some teenage girls peering over the wall, and being the busy body that I am, I had to step up to see what they were seeing, but I didn't know the group, so I had to ask them who they were. The guys kind of looked up at us and I felt like a stalker! It was still cool, though. ;)

I worked at DL for 15 years and saw many famous people. The biggest one was probably Michael Jackson. I was working in the Main Street Magic Shop over Christmas. On two seperate nights they closed the shop down for about 1/2 hour so he could shop in there. It was just me, him, his body guards and some DL security. It was really pretty cool. He did look ridiculous though since he had a great big wig on and a surgical type mask covering his mouth.
I also helped Danielle Steele(author), Dustin Hoffman, Willie Ames. Had Tom Cruise smile at me with those great pearly whites!
I'm sure there are others, I just can't remember. I've been gone from there for 10 years.

We've never seen anyone famous outside of a parade at the MK that featued members of the New Mickey Mouse Club.

But.... we had a good near miss. In March of 1990 we spent an afternoon at MGM. Everywhere we went, including the Prime Time Cafe', the CM's said; "You guys just missed Billy Joel, Christy Brinkley, and their daughter! And boy, is that kid a brat! ;)

We met the guys from "Whose Line!" They were shooting a commercial in MGM and then they were in the gift shop at the end of Rockin' Roller Coaster.

Actually I think my Mom might win, no celebs at Disney World but she did talk on the phone to Walt Disney himself when she was a phone operator. She said he was a very nice man.

Well, when I worked at Spalsh, Mariah Carey, Al Roker , Ron Jeremy , and Steven Tyler all came through. I accidentlly went on and on to Michael Irvin's family about how much I hate the Dallas Cowboys, only to then see and meet him a few minutes later. SAw The Rock from a distance. And during Grad Nights last year Monica (the singer) came through the shop and stole a frame!!

My husband spotted Nick Price (the golfer) in Epcot. He called his name, and Nick turned around and shook his hand.

That was pretty neat.

Last year at the AK we stood in line by a family and talked some with them. Our ds played with their ds while we waited for the parade to start. We were standing next to one of the carts with those cloth inflatable balloons on them, the kids kept playing with the demo ball over the fan. The guy evidently was a golfer because the CM working the cart recognized him and was asking him about the game or tour or whatever you call it (can you tell I am not a golf fan) Anyway, guy said that he didn't play that week, it was the younger ones, he was on the senior tour. Have no idea who he was though as I don't watch golf.

I never saw anyone at Disney more famous than Mickey :), so this is a close as I come.

I was staying on the concierge level of the Orlando Peabody. Whitney Houston rode down on the elevator with me. We didn't speak. She had several serious looking bodyguards.

Just two weeks ago, (Friday - 2/4/05) we stood beside Richard Gere and his party in the queue for Mickey's Philharmagic - he was actually in the Wheelchair queue with a Cast Member Guide but was leaning against the brass rail right beside of us.

The same day Extreme Makeover Home Edition was there filming a family (it appeared to be a couple and 6 small children - all in strollers. No one from the show was there but a large film crew and several cast members were assisting.
