Famous People You have met While at WDW

We got to meet all the cast (Urkel and the Winslows) of 'Family Matters' back in 1995 when they were filming a show at WL.

At MGM, we met George Wendt who played Norm on 'Cheers''...this was on a different trip. Yes, we did yell NORM when we saw him! He didn't seem to mind though.

Both of the celebs I saw was while I was working, once at Magic Kingdom and for the life of me I can't remember his name, I know they are brothers and they did a sit-com a while back. He was hosting the Easter parade.

One of the Lawrence brothers, perhaps? Joey, Matthew, or Andy?

just maybe us women on the boards will get lucky and see Johnny Depp portraying Jack Sparrow at POC...I mean the real Johnny...not some audio-animatronic figure. Wouldn't that be nice?????????????????????????? Ladies?

I think I would pass out from shock if I saw Johnny Depp. That or I would say something really dumb like "You're beautiful, can I have your babies?!" :rotfl:

I would definitely have recognized one of the Lawrence brothers...Whooa!
They are comedians, a little bit older and they were of African decent (trying to be PC)

We were in Epcot at the American Theater watching the Irish dancers and this guy was sitting on the wall with a long sleeve shirt and pants on with a hat pulled down over his head (it was July). This was why I first noticed him. I looked again and realized it was Evander Hollyfield. I turned and took a picture of him and he saw me do it and just smiled and nodded his head towards me as if to acknowledge the fact that I knew he was. My niece was in line at Splash Mountain talking to this young woman who was fussing about her husband being "lost" and she just couldn't save his place in line anymore......later she saw her again and her husband was one of the Nelson twins(Ricky Nelson's sons Matthew and Gunnar). They were performing over at Epcot.

Wayans' Brothers?

Yes!!! One of the Wayans' brothers was there with the Aunt from Sabrina (the teenage witch, not Audrey Hepburn). I didn't see her, but I saw one them Wayan's brothers. Thank you!

We met David Jones (The Monkees) in MK and he even walked and talked with us a bit and then my husband took a picture of us together.

Last trip, we met Hulk Hogan at the Dolphin Lounge. My grandsons got their pictures taken with him.

We saw Montel Williams at Epcot, but didn't speak to him, as he across the way from us.

During Walts 100th celebration, we ran into Michael Eisner and Roy Disney leaving the One Man's Dream exhibit. They both spoke (Just saying "hi"), but Mr Disney stuck out his hand to shake my husbands hand and thanked us for coming and asked if we were enjoying ourselves.

We were on the Disney Wonder :boat: in 2002 when we noticed John Ratzenberger who played Cliff Claven on Cheers. He actually did a question/answer period on ship. He got on the subject of winters in New England and asked if anyone was from NE. Being from VT he spoke directly to us and talked how he had lived in and work in VT for a short time. He's a really nice guy. ::yes::

wellllllll I never have acutally MET anyone Famous but I was there in 1995 to see Bobby Brown get arrested at PI . I think he started trouble in either Planet hollywood or some placce in PI and was in the Patrol car screaming and cursing . Oh and Later on I had heard he had relived himself in the Patrol car. What a guy!!! Such a role model huh?

In 1992 on our first family trip we met Jimmy Carter over by Indiana Jones. My dad spoke to him at length and sent him a letter about Habitat for Humanity (my dad was involved at the time and Carter was the founder) and referenced meeting him in WDW and President Carter sent him a response. Very nice guy......

We got the chance to meet Barry Bonds shortly after he set the record. It was the now that you have set the record where are you going YEP YOU GO IT DISNEY. He was there with his wife and daughter. We got are picture taken an autograph.

Now as far as spotting, of course Regis and Kelly, Drew Carey and the 2 others that are on the show with him on WHOS LINE IS IT ANYWAY.

I met Warwick Davis at the Star Wars Weekends two years ago. When I was there the first time as a teen, the older brother from the Wonder Years opened the door for me at the Contemporary Resort. I thought it was him and then later saw that he was doing an appearance at MGM. Can't remember his name anymore though!

We were waiting for Fantasmatic to start and a few rows over were roped off, wondered why? until it got darker and a party of 5 were escorted to sit there. It was John Stamos, his model wife (name I forget??) and a couple of kids & another adult. when we left dh actually spoke to him. Very handsome in person

Most of these people mentioned I wouldn't even recognize if I saw them. I wonder if I've just been in my own little world the times I've been there and just missed seeing someone famous?

I do think one person that would make me at a loss for words (and if you knew me, you'd know what a big deal that would be LOL) would be if I saw Johnny Depp. I wonder what I'd do... probably wouldn't be able to talk. I wonder if I'd become a stalker and just follow him around the park looking from a distance? LOL

Last Feb we saw Phil Donahue and ate at the table in Rainforest Cafe in AK right next to Bruce Springsteen. He looked old!!!

Wynonna Judd, Clay Aiken, Jump 5, Raven, Christy Ramono (sp?), and a few others I can't recall right now.
