Sad thing is I blocked off my calendar for this grrrI'd rather them reschedule to another day than keep us out here hanging in hopes that it could resume today.

I’d keep it openSo do we just keep the window open? How are they doing this announcement?
Same. I've got meetings this afternoon, and I don't want to be constantly looking at my phone to see if the queue has resumed.Sad thing is I blocked off my calendar for this grrr
This has always been a little glitchy, I don't understand how having people register for two events at the same time makes any sense, at least to me.Sounds like a big glitch happening![]()
The crazy thing is you can't even get in the que if you don't have a reservation to begin with...Looks like there is a proper issue with their system for this one. I got in with 9 minutes to go, and it was moving pretty fluidly. FB full of people saying that they got to the front and was told that they had no valid reservation despite having so.
Now it's paused, I can only imagine so they can look into it ASAP.
As for how they can fix it? Whatever they do, not everyone will be happy. If they just resume now, people that were kicked out will be upset. If they postpone to a new date, those still in the paused queue will be upset. So there is no golden answer - someone, somewhere is going to be disappointed.
Come on Disney, do better. As Mickey would say.... "Oh Boy"
Just so you think it through - planning around these events is a terrible plan. I've gotten burned like that twice moving my dates so we could get to one, and we never get in.This is ridiculous. I booked my trip around this event with flights, etc. I took a day off of work so I could register only to see this queue paused. There are no answers or updates. Are we seriously supposed to wait all day by our computers?!
Funny thing - I said to my partner "that accepted the member number VERY quick" right after we submitted it. Almost like there was no cross referencing the membership number had a reservation. I do not work in IT so cannot confirm, but it was lightning fast. Would not be surprised if it failed that initial check. The crazy thing is you can't even get in the que if you don't have a reservation to begin with...
Why the double check?
Is Disney IT being run by state farm and they are doing a discount double check?
The check was working - I have two memberships and it rejected the one without a reservation before the start.Funny thing - I said to my partner "that accepted the member number VERY quick" right after we submitted it.
