Was this in the newsletter? I can't find it on the site. We would be really interested to see what they were offering for big families.

Here's what I found on mouseplanet:
"We are hearing that Disney is converting some ground-floor rooms at the All-Star Music Resort into two-room suites to accommodate large families at the low-priced resort."
"…The test family suites at the All-Star Music resort are perhaps the start of something even bigger. (By the way, you can't request a reservation for those suites. Disney may offer them to you if your reservation shows that the suite might be appropriate for your party.) We're hearing that, if the test is successful, the second phase of the Pop Century Resort (the Legendary Years – 1900s–1940s) will be built entirely as family suites."

It's from these two updates:

As a family of 6, we'd love to see an affordable room we could fit in at the values. But if the deluxe resorts are any indication, they'll probably charge more for a suite than for 2 regular rooms.

If they are trying the family suits in the value resort.. I am sure the price will not be value rate... it will probably be between moderate and an inexpensive deluxe price.

as a family of 5 , I think this is a great idea!

I always wished Disney would offer a lower priced resort for larger families.
I hope this works out and that the cost will be less than 2 regular rooms at the values! ::MinnieMo
