We have 3 adults, 2 teens and one child going. The teens are 16 and 13 so they will count as adults right?
I've been before to DLP, but that was 10 years ago, can't remember it at all.
Anyway, I can't find a hotel for 6, we don't mind splitting into two rooms. Any reccomendations? We are planning to go in summer holidays, around 20th July, or mid August, still undecided. Any reccomendations when it is bst to go, (has to be in the summer holidays). And how many days do we go for, if we are jsut to visit Disney, I was thinking around 7, but most people here go for 3. We are in no rush, and then we can go paris for one day. I liked the idea of getting a VIP Fastpass but you need to get Castle Club.

As for budget, not sure yet. We are undecided whether to go Florida or Paris, Paris I think will be a hell of a lot cheaper.

Hope people can help :)

you can fit six in Davy Crocketts Ranch or my travel explorers hotel. we stayed at the latter and it was on par with wdw resort hotels in things to do for kids and room quality.

Hi ashmufc and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet posting guidlines can be found here and details regarding help on signatures here

We have visited in the summer and have stayed for as long as budget allowed. Last summer for 8 days but others might stay for shorter periods. As you say this will allow you an opportunity to visit Paris.

All the hotels will offer the option of ajoining rooms so you can pick a range from a variety of budgets. Is there any hotel theming that you prefer the look of?

Thanks for the replies.
The Davy Crocketts Ranch looks kinda rubbish to me from the outside looking at brochures.
Well I quite like the Disney Land Hotel, the Disney themed hotels look really good.

If your thinking of going to Paris as it is cheaper than Florida, you may find for 6 people at the DLH for seven nights may not be much cheaper than Florida for example renting a villa for 2 weeks in fact it could be a lot more expensive. for example for DLH you will be paying per person and for 5 adults that is going to really mount up. My parents are renting a villa at Florida this summer and the price is for the villa not per person, for my sister who is 17 they got a special teen rate for the flight.

Davy Crockett is NOT rubbish, we love it. It has great accomadation & a cabin means you don't have to share a bed-room with your kids!

The pool is one of the best on-site too.

The main draw-back is that you have to have a car.

Sorry. I'm just saying from looking at the brochure and DLRP DVD, it looks like a campsitte with a house then a relaxing hotel. You got any good pics of it?

I do have somme photos but don't know how to post them onto the computer , sorry. I will ask the kids if they can help but it will take a couple of days as I'm working today.
