my points you can shop through them, read e mails and you earn points= free gift cards

That is cute and nice that your daughter gave you a gift card. :)

I finally received a few myself. Not for Target though, oh well. I am good with it all the same.

From my little nieces and nephew, a MickeyD gift card, another from Jack in the box, and last but not least one for Burger King. Ah, I do love cheeseburgers.

just found your report. I am on a budget with my kids for May. I am going for the 4/3 deal and using the DDP. But after that we have to stay in Orlando to do Universal and Wet and Wild. Plus son wants to tour some colleges. Man I can't believe he is that old :sad1: I got a $20 Wal-mart gift card from my mom and I am thinking about saving it until May. Not sure but do the cards expire?

Gift cards should be good until the time comes that it is entirely used up.
It should never be refused. It is like cash, not the same as such, of course, but like it all the same. It should not be problem to keep it for next year. There is normally a phone number, that one can call that is listed on the card, so as to check your balance. So once one begins to use it, however are not sure as to the balance, no problem, either call the number, or have it checked at the appropriate store.

Have a blast with your family at WDW!! How exciting! :)

I followed along on your last Pre Trip and wanted to say Hi and I hope you are able to stick with your Budget. I can't believe how fast you earn things on MyPoints it takes me forever. Good Luck with everything!

I am so glad that I found your thread. We are also a family of 6 (plus 2 grandparents) planning our first family vacation to WDW. I would love to hear more about your budget and how you are earning and saving all these extras for your trip. We are also staying offsite in a house because it seemed cheaper and more practical for all 8 of us. From fellow disers, I have learned about Sunshine Rewards, Inbox Dollars, Fatwallet and have started saving cans to get a little extra cash! How are you earning so much and so quickly on my points?

Keep us posted on your budget planning - I love hearing what others are doing to get to the World!!!

Just a quick question - can you use Disney Dollars to pay for parking at the parks??
