Family of 4 in a Standard Grand Floridian Room?

2 Adults and 2 kids Ages 15 and 4. Do you think this could work for 2 nights or should we just go for Home Away from Home resorts, a 2 bedroom Villa?

The price would be $375 (+tax) per night Value Season September 2007. We are going on a Disney Cruise but we wanted to take 1 day and visit Magic Kingdom.

What do you think we should do?

The GF rooms are really a nice size. Much bigger than a mod and slightly bigger than the other deluxes. At least it felt that way when we were there! You can do a search because I remember in the past someone posted the sq footage of the rooms at each resort. Enless you are a DVC'er and have enough points for the 2bdrm at a DVC resort i would go for the room at the GF. It is a beautiful place, great access to MK and large enough room for a family of 4. In our room we had 2 queen beds, and a daybed. So, if your teenager wants to sleep in the bed alone, your 4 year old would have pleanty of room on the daybed.

One word: Space.

I am thinking about is 1 room worth it when it is time for sleep and DH and I are not sleepy but the kids are, then we have to go to bed when they go to bed.

The more I type this, the more I am thinking a Family of 4 in 1 room is not going to work when Space is an issue.

Space is why we stay in a condo off-site. There are three of us me, DS17, DS 15 and no one wants to share a bed. So we go off-site and get a two room condo for less than one day at the GF.
