Okay, so I did Fall 2010, extended my program and stayed into Spring 2011.
Had a BLAST.

Now I'm looking into doing the program after I graduation. I can swing either way for my graduation, graduating in either Fall 2013 or Spring 2014. Don't judge me for planning my graduation around when I want to do the program lol

ANYWHO, can y'all help me combine a list of pros and cons for Spring vs Fall?

Either way, I want to do an Advantage program. (Right now I'm super leaning towards a Fall Advantage 2014 program...loved being down there during the holidays!)

Thanks!!

Spring gets you the lighter crowds of the spring season, which is nice for being a guest (and, depending on where you work, for work as well). The main special events include Epcot's Flower & Garden Festival and Hollywood Studios' Star Wars Weekends. The only real holiday is Valentines Day, which doesn't get much recognition from the parks, but you'll get to spend Christmas and New Years with your family.

Fall gets you heavier crowds for Thanksgiving and December, although you can still enjoy spring-level crowds in September and October. You will likely be working in an insane theme park even on Christmas day and at midnight on New Year's Eve. But the special events for fall include Epcot's Food & Wine Festival (SO MUCH FUN... especially if you're 21), MK's Halloween events and parties, and of course the holiday festivities and decorations at all four parks. It's fun seeing the parks transform through three different identities in the fall program.

Do fall. ;)

I'd have to disagree. In the spring you have 3 to 4 weeks of constant spring breaks and then Easter! It can be a very busy time. And then the summer season starts with cheerleading/dance competitions, Pop Warner Football, and of course all those tour groups!.

Haha true! I did forget about those weeks.

See, I worked at a resort and I would want to work at a park this time....the resorts were quite busy during pop Warner and the cheerleaders/dance teams being there. I don't remember remember spring break being that bad....

But one thing I DID NOT LIKE....the brazilians coming Over in droves....what season is that?

I'm still leaning towards Fall Advantage.

I worked at a resort during SA and then at a park for summer alumni. If I remember the tour groups where July to early August. I've never been there past Aug so I want to do Fall.

I am with you on planning graduation around Disney: thumbsup2 I purposely took 18 credits every semester, so I am a semester ahead...otherwise my college usually wants you to wait till your last semester to apply. So now if I get into the fall cp, I'm going to try finishing in the summer so I can extend my stay- or just graduate on time in the spring. Good luck, it helps knowing that so many people like you want to go back again! :goodvibes
