One question about this..........if the original person with the PIN has to cancel for whatever reason, does that mean everybody else who booked under that PIN gets canceled too?

She chose Disney Her absolute favorite resort is POFQ, but she also loves POR. If anyone with a pin is going for similar dates & is willing to share a pin, please PM me. Thank you!!

It's not really sharing. Someone with a pin can book up to 3 rooms at the same resort for the same time frame, and the reservations need to be linked together.

If the pin goer no longer goes, yes, you'd be at risk of losing the discount.

You have to be going the same dates as whoever you're sharing with and staying at the same resort. And the person with the PIN needs to book the rooms. I did this with friends in March. I had the PIN and booked 3 rooms for us using the PIN.

So I just called, got through within 2 minutes and lo and behold! No PIN attached to my name. :-(

What I found odd is, despite me having been before and having a current reservation both linked to MDE using my email address, they said they didn't have an email for me?

They do now, so I'm hoping it triggers a burst of Pixie Dust. I'm travelling in the October blackout zone.

I've heard it's very rare for a someone in the UK getting a PIN code, so I won't hold my breath.

Thanks for posting the info, Mr. Black. After seeing it, we called last night and learned we had the PIN before it was even sent out. We got FD at POR. As a family of five, getting POR saved the trip.

We booked for Aug 25-31. With the public offer we were considering November, but with this deal we can go at the end of August and not have to take the kids out of school.

When I called yesterday trying to get two rooms at CBR for 10/3 to 10/11 and they were sold out, I asked if I had a pin and amazingly I did! I got POR for my dates with FD!

Sadly, the early December dates were also excluded from the pin offer:

PIN Code Dates Include:
August 25 - October 3
October 19 - November 1
November 9 - November 22
December 12 - December 23

It looks like the 1st week of December is no longer a good week for discounts

Just called to price out a vacation for nov 29-dec 5. Let them know one family traveling with us will be their first time and that I'm waiting to book anything until hopefully a discount is available. She asked about pricing out a dining plan and i said no we really need a deal. Hoping I get some pixie dust for a pin for our stay. Who knows. The woman was very nice and guessed that ro offers would be out July/August which is when I thought already. I'll call next week and check on pins under everyone going with us. I will call back every week and check. Disney will be sick of me calling. Plus side it took less than 5 minutes to get through.

I did the same thing the other day. I'm going to do it under my moms account also and my sister has already done it.
