Fall discount at a Disneyland Hotel??

We are trying to plan a 5 night trip to Disneyland for mid September. We'd like to stay at a one of the Disneyland Hotels but I was hoping that there would be some sort of discount offered - full price at GC is hard to swallow!
What do you guys think the chances are that they'll offer something to the general public for that time frame?

Some of us have gotten PINS via email or the mail. You could try creating an account on the Disney website, saving some dates and seeing if you get one too. My PIN was for September. (Well, not mine. They sent it to my 1-year-old. But I think she'll share.)

yeah, with DCA and CL this year I think the only discounts offered will be pin codes...I dont think they are going to offer a fall promotion like they have been doing the past number of years...could be wrong but thats the way im leaning

As a PP stated, some of us have gotten pin codes this past week. In the email and postcard (I received both) it stated that since I was a past guest I was getting first chance at this offer, implying that eventually the offer would be offered to everyone. Hopefully it will be!!

What do you mean by pins? We booked at PPH for October several months back and recieved a confirmation email this weekend but i don't see anything that looks like a pin number?

a pin is a long code that usually comes in the mail to you by either post card or in some sort of DL advertisement..it will say your name or the name of a person in your household and will tell you that you are eligible for a discount provided you call with this pin code...its not the same thing as a confirmation number...you get that to verify you have a reservation only

My father in law gets them all the time, mailed to our address.

In the past when they went with us, I booked their room using our address.

Hi,

I just called to check on AP rates for my upcoming September trip. The CM told me that there are some PINs that were recently sent out for the period of August 12th thru September 29th (same period as the AP rate). I didn't have a PIN associated with my last name. The APs for September have been released (30% off most nights at DLR hotels). Hope this helps.
