just so you know it doesnt matter what order you put them in.... if you select a role you are fair game to get it.... your best chance of being selected is to select all of the roles on the checklist..... other than that the order is irrelevant and from my experience they tend to put you in the opposite place you want anyway haha.... i didnt even select qsfb last time and thats what they gave me... so it really doesnt matter

I got that too, but that's because it's the least wanted role. So usually if you say you're okay with doing it when they ask they stick you in there. They need bodies for that job.

All right, if I was "ok" with doing qsfb but really wanted something else should I not put it in hopes of getting something else?
OR, should I put it so that I have a greater chance of going? I wouldn't hate doing it, I just don't really want to.

Can you check off all the roles you're willing to do and make more clear during the phone interview that qsfb is kind of your last resort? (that's what a friend of mine did and got in doing merchandise) Or should I just avoid qsfb and just hope they accept me for anything else?

Only put in QSFB if you want it, I don't think I even put it in and the interviewer asked me if I would be against it and I told her no. I didn't really voice how badly I wanted some of the other jobs though so if you're passionate I think you should be okay. Passionate. Not desperate, lol there's a fine line and I know a lot of people who crossed it in the interviews and threw fits when they got roles they didn't necessarily want. Needless to say most of them were termed, some of them self termed pretty early on in the program.

Woah haven't been on here in a while I've been soooo busy but man I sure can't wait for applications! I'm so nervous for the web interview but I think it will turn out good... And to answer a question from way long ago

Hello, people! I haven't been back on the Dis since... well, basically since I made it down to Florida for my CareerStart program last year. BUT, I have applied for FA 2011, and just finished the application; I get to schedule my phone interview tomorrow!

Be positive and enthusiastic. If they ask you a question about someone too short for a ride, the answer is always no. Lol.

However my friend did not get past the web-interview and wasn't granted a phone interview. She had made a mistake on her application and only put her top 3 roles on the role checklist. She didn't know she could put more. We think that since she didn't put more roles she was seen as not flexible. I told her she should call and explain her situation to them and see if she can moderate her app. In all honesty this girl screams Disney and deserves it more than anyone including myself!

Does anyone think her calling and explainin her situation will help? So they see how badly she wants it?? All of your feedback is much appreciated. Sorry this was so long! But any answers are helpful!!

The amount of roles on the checklist has nothing to do with the Web Based Interview (I only had 4 roles and got through). Do you know what kind of computer she did it on? PC or Mac? And what internet browser she used? If she used anything other than Internet Explorer- that may have been why she didn't pass. The interview is meant to be taken on Internet Explorer and sometimes can mess up if done on Safari or Firefox. If that's the case- she can call and explain and they may reset it.

If that wasn't it, then she just didn't pass. I don't know if she could call and just ask to have it reset, but it's worth a shot.
