Fall Advantage 2011 :)

Yeah that was what I meant to say further is to watch out in general for those months as your example shows.

Was that the day when applications came out for last year?

I'm not sure. I visited Disney on the 24th decided I wanted to find a career and applied for CS on the 27th. So I did it all in a short span of time.

:wave2:
So when do the applications go up for Fall 2011? I want to apply while I am doing the Spring Career Start, so I can go back to back, I wonder if I can do that, I sure hope so!

I don't think this is an option. You should call recruiting and find out.

Yeah, you might want to check with recruiting. I don't know how it works with the Career Start program, but you have to have been in college classes for a semester before you can apply for the CP.

Hey ya'll
I received my degree from my University in 2009. I'm thinking of enrolling part time at my local community college for the Spring 2011 semester (Just taking a class or two of things that I may find interesting that I didn't get a chance to take in my degree program). Would I be eligible for applying for the college program for Fall Advantage 2011? I would LOVE to get another opportunity on the college program to do some of the things that I did not get to on the first program (Spring 2007).

Thaannkkkss!!

Yes you can I emailed them with a similar question not long ago!:thumbsup2

I'm glad you asked the CC question. This is my last semester at a University and unfortunately didn't get in for Spring. But I was already originally planning to go back to my CC(before decided to apply for CP) and take a class I've been interested in so I was like I hope this can be another chance to apply again next semester. So that's cool. I'll be applying with you guys too. :)

sorry i am just seeing this! we are in zeta tau alpha!

Haha its okay! i am so excited and keeping my fingers crossed that i get the internship after i actually apply!! How cool that you are going to do it with one of your sorority sisters!

does anyone know how it works if you dont plan on living in the provided housing? my boyfriend is applying too and his brother will be moving down there so we are looking at apartments but i just wasnt sure how that worked!! Thankss

Hey ya'll
So I was just speaking to an old CP buddy of mine who was accepted to another program (this coming spring) and he mentioned that he didn't remember having to take the online questionnaire portion of the application.

Is this something new? I thought that all new applicants, even alumni, had to take it to gain admittance to the program.

This is a bit unnerving to me because when I did my program in 07, we had no questionnaire or anything of the like. Just the sign up and the interview. It was difficult to NOT be accepted then. Online questionnaires freak me the heck out.

Perhaps there was a bit of misinformation. As you can see, I'm extremely anxious to get accepted to this program even this far out LOL!!

Thoughts/Concerns/Questions/Answers?
Thanks!!!

The questionnaire part of the application is easy. And when I applied this time around I had to take it. It's basically like all those questions you get asked when applying for other hourly jobs. Just be honest and answer quickly since it's timed. I thought the web portion was the easiest part of applying. lol

I figured it was required. I miss the old days where they would accept you as long as you had a pulse. I remember applying for my first program and i had NO DOUBT whatsoever that I would be accepted :lmao: I'll be ok though. I just think too much sometimes

But anywhoo, what other part is there to it. I know you have to do an E-Presentation or attend a campus event at your school. Then you gotta actually apply/online questionnaire. Lastly, there is the actual interview if you make it past that. Is there anything else in between/before/after?

I wish it was that easy today. Seems very competitive especially one at Disneyland.

That's all you have to do. Though I hear if you go to a campus presentation all they do is give you a code at the end and you have to still go back online to finish applying/take online questionnaire. So I'd say do e-presentation if want to apply early and then if there is a presentation near you attend if you want to talk to a representative or anything.

just did the online ePresentation and I'm very excited to do the web based interview this tonight!!!! Getting those butterlies all over again (time number two to apply for the CP).

Im applyin for the fall advantage program too. I finished the spring quarter program this past august in QSFB... and actually i graduated 2 years ago in december but these days its so hard to find a job that i feel like Disney is all that will hire me haha... so ill be taking a CC class in jan and applying for professional internships as well as fall advantage as a backup...

i did the stupid web based interview for my last program... it just makes me nervous to do it again... i dont remember any of the questions...

and the thought that i could possibly not pass the web based interview even though i have done two programs in the past really makes me nervous haha...

i want some examples of the questions they ask in the web based just so i can refresh myself... those questions are opinionated i know its just i think it is the dumbest requirement ever for a job because no one would be completely truethfull on one of those things anyway...

I did a web based interview for a seasonal job here in kentucky like a week ago... one question asked,

"if you knew that one of your parents stole from their place of business, would you let their boss know? " hahaha how do you answer that... ! of course i wouldnt tell their boss thats ridiculous

Hey guys! My name is Katelyn (Kat for short) and I'm a FA '11 hopeful! I'm just ready for January to get here so we can finally apply and get one step closer! Agh!

sorry i am just seeing this! we are in zeta tau alpha!

Sorry I haven't been on in a long time, but I saw this and had to post that I'm a Gamma Phi Beta at the university of alabama! I'm hoping one of my sisters will do the program too. It would be so awesome! :lovestruc
