Fall 2016 planning (continuation of 2016 Free Dining Watch)

Tis the season to be gouged, uh I mean its the season of giving Disney your money. Whopse . I mean aw heck. Nevermind.
I mean why would the kids be more expensive and why would the same day price for the child be cheaper than the advance tix. There is obviously a mistake in the kid pricing on this one:

Someone in the comments section on the wdwnt article suggested this was probably a typo and should be $87, not $97. That actually makes a lot of sense.

The various websites I read reviews on all agreed Pop was worth the extra money. As PPs have mentioned, you get the dedicated buses and better food courts (both at Pop and AoA). This will be my first stay at a Value and I originally booked at ASSp, but I'm super excited that I was able to switch to Pop.

We are at ASSp this time because DH insisted we try something different this time even though we loved pop. :rolleyes2

FYI, anyone looking at POP FD...they opened up a bunch of standard rooms today. We have been trying to decide if PoP would be a better option than ASR's and figured for an extra $10 a night we would give it a go. We are such penny pushers we keep going back and forth trying to determine if it is an economical decision:scared:. Would love some of your thoughts?
We loved Music. We stayed there twice. Then we tried Pop and really, really loved it. Now I just want to always stay at Pop, not the All Stars.

We did a split stay last year.......BC/Pop. We were so happy to arrive at Pop. :goodvibes

How were the busses at music? DH wanted sports because the 7yo loves sports and they are first in the loop of all stars in case they share a bus haha.

Buses were great, even when we shared. No complaints really. But that was back in 2010 and 2011. I still hear good things about AllStar buses though.

I say go for it if it's within your budget. I see so many people here who really like POP. I've done *** and ASM before and could definitely leave them behind but I definitely want to try POP. From the videos I've seen it seems like a nice upgrade.

I can only hope!

I'm wondering if they will discount them later if there is a dip in sales. It will be hard for me not to pull the trigger right away but if they happen to discount them like with the after hours I will be kicking myself :)

Thank you so so much! Every time I start second guessing my choice I read reviews and end up wanting to stick with CSR. I really think we are going to love it! Reviews like this get me so excited to go! I know my 9 year old son and 10 year old niece will love the pool and slide. I guess the only thing I was worried about was my 5 year old who is a little timid in the water, and also I will have an 8 month old with me. I thought the CBR pool might be better with zero entry. Do you think they will be okay with the CSR pool? Of course the baby will be with me anyway!

This is our first trip and I was so torn about staying at Pop which is more Disney decked out or CSR. I kept seeing people saying negative things about CSR.
But the more I researched the more I think we would love it.
In the end since it was only a small amount more to stay at CSR we chose that :)
I'm hoping we do love it. Hubby is happy with the bigger beds lol

It was on the passholder site that both will go on sale tomorrow. Here are the rumored prices. :scared1:View attachment 166597

Holy moly :crazy2:
Guess we won't be going if that's true!
