What is it that everyone dislikes so much about ASSp? It was my first choice this time and this universal loathing is making me nervous!

We stayed at ASSp September 2014 and loved it! We only shared a bus one time and that was to Disney springs and the resort wasn't even that crowded so you would have thought we would have shared more often! The only reason we've "upgraded" ourselves to mods in the most recent years is because of the queen beds. When we stayed at sports we only took DS1 for his 3rd birthday. Now that he's 4.5 and DS2 is 3 and my DH is 6'5" he insists that we get the larger beds. You'll have a great time there! We stayed in the football section and it was a perfect distance to everything without paying for a preferred location!

Because of the ridiculous prices of tickets for MVMCP hubby officially said NO

I'm so bummed, however he did put on the table adding another day at the parks

Poly standard room has opened up for 13/9 - 17/9 if anyone is interested - just wish it was bc or YC standard!

We did the same thing! We decided to stay an extra day instead of MVMCP. We went to MNSSHP last year and only 1 of the 3 kids were awake for the stage show and parade. We think we might wait until our little 2 are a little older and budget it in to the trip cost ahead of time.

I'm looking for a YC standard for 12/4-12/6 only with the UOC and I haven't seen a single room other than Club Level since it was released. Is YC usually that much more difficult to get than BC? We did book Beach Club in the meantime, but still really hoping...

I think since the party tickets are so costly, we will also be adding a day to our park tickets also. I wonder what time they do the fireworks on party nights? It would be fun to watch them from the poly!!

I'm considering doing the same thing. I mean even if I buy tickets for 10/2 the people that might have gone on 10/4 might now choose the 10/2 or 10/6 so they don't have to pay even more. I just don't understand the pricing this year.

I love your idea about watching the fireworks from the Poly! We don't want to spend that much money to go to a party that 2 of our 3 kids will probably sleep through, LOL.

The grandmunchkins have never seen the water parade either. Do they do that on party night also?

I'm secretly hoping they don't sell a lot of tickets and drop the price lol

I want to add another day of park, but I'm nervous that means every week day we are at a park.
We arrive Sat the 12th and our schedule looks like this:
Sunday-Universal
Monday- Legoland(but seriously considering skipping this and doing the Crayola Experience)
Tuesday- was supposed to be relaxing day then MVMCP at night
Weds-MK
Thurs-Epcot/AK
Friday-HS
We might possibly hop to another park on Friday too depending on how long we spend at HS.
I wanted two days at MK so with getting in at 4 on MVMCP was ideal for us.

Is a rest day really that important?
I'm thinking we could always go back to resort to rest/swim for a little bit a couple of days.
I stink at planning vacations lol

I love your idea about watching the fireworks from the Poly! We don't want to spend that much money to go to a party that 2 of our 3 kids will probably sleep through, LOL.

We often have a late dinner reservation at Ohana so we've been lucky enough to get to see the fireworks during dinner.

Does Disney ever drop prices? If they did I bet it would be for AP holders.

As for your itinerary, an extra day is so inexpensive that it would be a bargain even if you went to a park until lunch, then just swam and relaxed the rest of the day!

Also the nice thing about Disney tickets, is you don't have to decide if you want to add an extra day now, you can add it on later, during your vacation!![/QUOTE]

My favorite part of MVMCP tickets being on sale, "prices starting at $86." Yeah 2 parties out of 21 are that price . I just really hope that this means it won't be as crowded this year.

A free day is a must for us. That's the one day we can sleep in, head to DS to souvenir shop and just spend the rest of the day relaxing.
