Congrats! That is awesome You will do great - are you excited? I would love to either just get an acceptance call or at least another chance for a second interview.

Ditto!!! I was in the running for 3, now only 2. Both still say interview stage and have since my first phone interview. I would love to hear something.

I hope I'm posting in the right place, but has anyone done one of the ESPN internships or applied this year for one? If there is somewhere else I should be posting this question, please let me know! Just an update--retail will be conducting 3rd round interviews this week and Theme Parks Ops has started their 2nd rounds. Pretty good movement for this point in the semester : ) Hopefully us retail kiddos will know something either way next week!

Hi there : ) I know of about 5 people including my husband that have applied for the ESPN WWoS Guest Ops MI, which is categorized under WDW PI's, however there are other internships that are strictly for ESPN. Good luck! Maybe someone on here can give you some better info than I can..

I applied to two of the ESPN internships in CA. I am currently "in progress" and hope to hear something soon regarding them. I would also love to hear from someone who has actually done this internship. I wonder if I'm the only female who applied

I applied for the WDWPRO Finance internship when the app became available; had a screening a few days later; got an email asking for my transcripts a month later; and now....nothing. The status on my dashboard still says "interview stage". Has anyone received an answer from the program yet?

hello! I think we are all playing the waiting game right now. I looked through the 2011 Professional Internships thread on this website, and most people didn't find out anything until April or the beginning of May. So I think, sadly, it might be a little while!

Much thanks! I am preparing for it right now. I'm pretty confident but still a little nervous about talking to 3 people at once! Between my first PI interview and my CP interview, not sure what other questions they could come up with to ask but I will definitely try to remember how it goes and post back! Thanks for all the support and Good Luck everybody!

Thank you! I am very excited. Either way I'm going to Florida in June but it would be nice to have options when I go there. Everything after the first interview has been conducted outside of the dashboard and through my external email address so I would check it often and make sure nothing slips through the junk folder. Also, it took about two weeks to hear back anything, just one morning I got an email asking when I would like to set up the second interview. So hang in there everyone!

My prescreening interview was 2/20 and then 3 days later Katherine called me asking add'l questions regarding this internship (my original interview was discussing the Adventures by Disney and two Disneyland internships. Those last two went into NLIC last week but the Adventures by Disney is in interview stage as well as WDPRO Finance). Hopefully we will hear something positive soon and hopefully before the middle of April! Good luck!

Yes, I hope we do hear something soon. Its nerve racking, checking emails and the dashboard just to see if anything has changed. I think this is the longest I have ever waited to hear back from a job opportunity that I was still being considered for. I wonder if anyone else who applied for a PI got an NLIC for it yet or if every candidate is in interview stage; at least we'd know they started narrowing their list

I'm sorry I have high hopes that your last one will come through!! Have you applied to any undergraduate internships? I received an email last night that one of the job positions I applied to (Secretary III) was now NLIC

Is the last one your favorite?

False alarm; I checked again just now and everything's back to normal...still in "interview stage" Whew!! Thank the Lord.

Littlemermaid I'm sorry about the other two positions; hopefully that was just making room for your last one to be an acceptance! Don't lose hope, you got one more to go

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope your last one comes through! Is that the one you really wanted?

I just had a second interview for the Communications PI this past Thursday and am anxiously waiting to hear anything back! My interviewer said not to expect anything until at least the middle of April... I know that's not too far away, but it seems like an eternity!

I know I'm still in consideration for some CP Alum PIs, but haven't heard anything in the last five a half weeks since my phone screen about those. Has anyone else heard anything about the Alum positions?
