Fall 2008 PIs

I just had my first interview (after that 1st screening call). It's not bad at all, all the usual interview questions. I know what's going to kill me is the WAIIIITTING! The woman I interviewed with said that we will NOT hear back before the dealine posted on line and I'm definitely a planner so this is so tough!

was this the interview with the hiring managers or just a recruiter because I didnt count the first call as an interview it was more of just to schedule the intial screening interview.

It was the interview with the recruiter. I applied for Data Collection Specialist, Merchandising Special Events and Entertainment Production.

Are the rest of you just applying for PIs or for the CP too? I haven't done the CP before, so I applied for that too, but I know I'm not going to know if I got a PI by the time I have to confirm the CP. I'm stressing so much about that! Ideally I'd love to do one of the PIs but Imostly I just want to work for Disney!!

I applied for both the PI and Cp. Likely, I will probably know about the CP program, before I know about PI, since they will not be making final decisions until May. I wish we could know sooner!!!

Yeah, exactly- assuming I get the CP, I don't want to accept if it might disqualify me for the PIs or if I have to retract my decision to get a PI. I guess we just have to go with the flow. I think if I get interviews with the various hiring managers for the PIs I applied for I might get a better sense of my chance of being accepted! I am just sooooo bad at waiting!

did you get an e-mail about the application to fill out? if not check check disneycareers.com to see if it is on your work bench. If its not there then I would e-mail them.

Yeah, I had the same thing happen to me. I called Casting and the two answers I've gotten are
1.)You can always do the application after you're hired. It's not a prerequisite.
2.)They are going to send the applications after the 14th.
I have no idea if the 2nd one and I were talking about the same thing though. I think she just meant the overall application.
I know my stuff got passed on because I got an email about that. But no seperate application.
Couple questions for you, though! Who did you interview with? And are you an active cast member?
I am and She typed my pernr into the computer and went "Yep! There you are!" so I wasn't sure if that meant I didn't need to apply for the company again.... But then I know a campus rep who did have to do the 2nd application.

I hate this waiting process! OMG!

I applied for the CP as well as my PIs.. Im auditioning so by the time I actually find out hopefully I would hear from the PI people. lol

Ok, my interviewers name is Laura so there goes that theory. But the active cast member one still stands!! I finally emailed them because the worrying got to me! I'll let you know what they say!

I didn't receive that email until a week after my interview. Maybe it's still on its way...

I'm just taking it one day at a time, trying to keep myself busy at school!!! They will contact you soon, I didn't get an email, to maybe a couple days after the interview (4 days to be exact, so I was curious if I did well), then a week after my first interview, I get an email from my program yesterday for a 2nd interview!!! I'll pray for both us, we need it!!!

Believe me, I was worried, my didn't come to couple days later after my 1st interviewed!!!

My interviewer was kate, if they told you, she was going to pass your information, on you will get the email, very soon!!! Best of luck!!! I have applied ever since Feb. 6th, and I'm just getting through first part of process, it long!!!

I didn't receive that email until a week after my interview. Maybe it's still on its way...

Well I got an email back from them and it was just a pretty useless form letter with no new information at all!

"Hello,

Thank you for your message. No final decisions have been made. Summer
applicants will know one way or another by March 28th. Thank you for
your patience during this time.

right after that, I got an e-mail stating to fill out the form..
I located the from, but I don't see any address to mail this to...
Some people here said that after completing the form, I need to mail this..
I am worried that I am missing something...
