OH MY GOSH!! I get a whole section of shout out time!! I am SO glad we got to meet...I think I have FB messaged, posted on your FB wall, and texted you that a million times, sorry I get excited You are so sweet and your mom was too cute, she was so excited to talk to us about the cake and offering to take us to a tasting I loved it!! My mom was laughing so hard when we went to check out my wedding location and we saw the swan boats!! I have my fingers crossed that we will be able to hang out again soon!!

Sorry to hear your hair trial didn't go very well, I used Beaute Speciale and they were very good even if I did get poked in the eye at one point - but thats more to do with me being a figity person.

I'm sure Max will have picked a brilliant place for your Honeymoon.

I like 1900PF but I agree with the Prince thing. Our prince was only so-so. The sisters however were fabulous. xx

Wow, can't believe how bad the S/D hair trial went. That is awful! I always say that I am going to head over there for a service when we stay at the BC, but I never pull the trigger. Now, I see what I don't. Sorry it happened to you. For a recommendation, I am using Janet Mednick (onsite beauty) and she seems great so far.

Glad you cake tasting went well. Their cakes look so good.

Looks like Mom had a great birthday. We love 1900PF, sorry it wasn't great for you. The Step Mother and Step Sisters are awesome! I don't know why they can't find a good Prince Charming for there. We have always had just so-so ones.

Since you live in Boynton, you will appreciate this. One of my favorite restaurants when I lived there and visit is the Ale House on Gateway. Well, a few weeks ago, they opened one in Boston!!! I am so excited! I get my Zingers! Just had to share.

I'm not sure how the rest of the spa at the S/D is (it was really pretty!) but I would certainly not recommend wasting your money on anything hair related! I will look into Janet- thanks for the recommendation!

I'm nervous about the honeymoon but I know he will plan something I love! All he will tell me is that we need a passport and that he'll pack! It should be exciting!

Boo about the hair trial! That is awful that it completely fell out within an hour. Lucky for you that you did a trial and didn't just go with them for your wedding! At least they gave you your money back. I'm using Jackie from Beaute Speciale, she's awesome. I loved her at my trial and can't wait to work with her again.

Wow! I can't believe what a disaster your hair trial was! I'm so glad you got your money back and that it was just the trial!!! I had Heather from Makeover Maven (recommended by Karen from JM!) and loved her! I didn't have a chance to have a trial before the wedding, but in the end I was trilled with my hair and makeup. She was super nice and really easy to get a long with (we texted each other a lot leading up to the big day!). And she gave me the most amazing skin care tips (one tip - mix a little bit of baking soda with your normal face wash = AMAZING!!!).

Love the step sisters!!! I have stood outside of that place just to watch them!

Sorry about your hair trial, I know that is a disappointment. But at least you got your money back without a problem and you know not to use them, and you helped other brides (thank you!). I am going to try and set up an appointment for the day after our planning session since that's the only time I will be able to get to Orlando (I am in Georgia). I hope it goes well because chances are I won't be going back until the wedding.

You have been on a few mini-trips since I last commented, I'm so jealous! That hair trial was pretty ridiculous. But I guess it's good you didn't need to fight to get your money back. I agree with you about 1900PF at dinner, but my DF and I loved it at breakfast, totally different atmosphere for some reason. I was a little surprised they made you use helmets for the horseback riding. I went a couple years ago and it was optional. I guess they've changed their policy since then...

Hi girls!

So, this morning I mailed our Save the Dates!! I guess this wedding is really happening!

We got our STDs from Wedding Paper Divas and got a 20% discount for being Costco members- love it! I was really worried about the quality of some of the paper I saw floating around the internet so I decided I'd just spend a little extra to make sure the paper was nice and heavy. We decided to stick with postcards and keep it easy.

We were thrilled with the result! The STDs are on really nice, thick cardstock and look great!

In total, we sent out 46 postcards. We still have 5 more at home that need to go out-- 3 of them are missing addresses (blame my dad and Max!) and 2 of them can't go out yet because I haven't told my grandparents (and her friend that's invited) that we are getting married at Disney and NOT the Catholic Church. I'm going to be in huge trouble. :

This Weekend's Disney Trip!​

So this Friday Max and I are heading up to WDW for a quick weekend trip!

He is leaving work 30 minutes early so we can grab dinner and then hit the road! Hopefully we will be there by 8:30pm! We are staying at All Star Music so we'll check in and probably just relax in the room!

Saturday we're going to MK! We haven't been to MK in so long (okay, for our standards ) and we're excited to go! Max is surprising me with a special dining reservation for this day! Can't wait!

Sunday morning we'll get up, get packed, and head over to It's Tasty Too for another tasting so Max can try the cakes I picked out! I'm so excited for MOAARR CAKEEE!! Then, we'll hit the road to come home!

Nothing too special planned but I love our quickie trips-- it's the best part of being a Florida resident!

-The StDs came out great! You two really are so adorable together.

-We haven't told Doug's parents that it's a completely non-religious ceremony, so I get your feelings about not telling your grandparents. Thankfully, my parents don't care. In fact, my mom's words were "Oh, good! All that kneeling when we got married was a pain in the neck!" Sometimes she's cool. (Just not often enough )

-Yay weekend trip and surprise dinner! I can't wait to hear where Max chose.

-Multiple times this past week (where it's barely been above freezing), I've told Doug that when he retires, we need to have a second home in a warm place for the winter. Driving distance to Orlando sounds about right!
