Fairytale Cuvee Champagne

Since I just came back from my parent's house for a kid friendly NYE, and since my dad got the most go*-awful champagne, AND since I had seen mention of this Fairytale Cuvee, I thought I'd ask about it.

I understand it's served at V&A's, and I *think* I remember a couple posts about it being for sale at a shop in the Contemporary.

Since my next trip is before NYE 2003, I was thinking I might see if I can locate this stuff and get some to bring home.

Firstly, how is it? I have yet to go to V&A's so I have no clue. Is it a sweet or dry champagne?

And, if you are one of those people who has seen and/or bought it at a shop at the Contemporary - which shop is it? And if you remember price, that would be helpful, too.

I think it's a pretty sweet champagne. We had it at our Disney Wedding and everyone commented on how good it was. The Korbal we had last night was bitter in comparison.

You can get Cuvee at the Contemp, the Poly, the GF, and I believe the WL gift shops. In the Contemp, it's the last gift shop on the left where they sell all the booze and cigarettes and stuff. When we were there, they had it in the refridgerated case.

We brought home a bottle for our anniversary and I'm pretty sure it was like $25.

I'm pretty sure you can order it by the glass at many of the WDW sit down restaurants if you want to try before you buy!

We had two bottles of Champagne waiting for us when we boarded the Magic. We brought the Fairy Tale Cuvee home. I had no idea I'd ever see anyone else bring it up! Can't wait to try it. Thanks!

It is wonderful! We had it at our Disney wedding and we are hooked! We always try to bring some back from our trips! I believe we paid about 45-50$ for a bottle! Well worth it!!!

P.S. You can but it just about anywhere..we have bought it onboard the Magic...DTD...the Grand and the Contemp.

Hmm--I remember a thread about this! Maybe the Gourmet Pantry? I think it is available at the Contemporary, too.
