Looking for opinions on this hotel. Any good or bad experiences that you could share would be appreciated. We are looking to stay there the first week of December. A friend of ours may be able to get us a rate of $45 per nite. Is this a good rate?

Any comments would be appreciated.

Never been there, but it's fairly new - I think at least within the past 3 years or so.. Saw some photos on a web site and it looked really nice..

I'm looking at early December too and the cheapest I've found for the Fairfield is $55 or so..

For $45 a night, I would GRAB IT !!!

Have fun!! :)

Fairfield Inn is the budget brand of the Marriott chain. This hotel is typical of the chain as far as room size and quality of furnishings is concerned. But it's fairly new (a couple of years old or so), and is by far the nicest (and largest) Fairfield Inn I've been in. It's in a 3 hotel complex of Marriott branded hotels that also includes a Spring Hill Suites and a Courtyard by Marrriott.

We were jjust there for our 3rd stay in July. The first trip i wasn't really impressed--but we had a room the I4 side of the hotel and could hear the traffic--when we asked to move they did move us.

Our second stay (this past January) my son and his friend actually liked this better than the All Stars.

In July we had nothing but great things to say about the employees. Wonder ful wonderful wonderful people!!! We also had a king room reserved and ended up in what was probably one of their largest rooms--it was great.

I had a great experience staying at the Fairfiled Inn Marriott Village....clean rooms, nice breakfast, pleasant main areas. This is quite a bargain for the $50 and under rate! The shuttle that goes to the Disney parks used to be free, but when I stayed there in February, I had to buy a ticket and pay(I think $5.00). This could add up if a family needs to rely on this form of transportation. Other than that, I give this hotel high ratings.

I have to admit to belle1962 the employees at Marriott Villages are wonderful people. We have stayed twice at the Marriott Courtyard Villages for three weeks and it was super. During our stay we looked at the rooms at the Fairfield and Springhill and both where like the Courtyard very clean and nice. The rooms of the Fairfield who are looking toward the Courtyard are located above a little "street" with the foodcourt and have a nice view on that street.
If something happens over there to you and the make a promisse let them put it on paper.
We where one of the first guest of the Courtyard at Marriott Village, we had to move to another room twice because they had cleaned the carpet in one room with paint remover and woke up with red eyes. (lasted 2 days) The pool was great but when we came out of it we had cuts under our feet, the floor of the pool was to rough, it did'nt stopped bleeding so we want to the first aid at the hospital. We came out there with a few stitches under our feet. Back at the hotel they gave us free breakfast for the rest of our stay and when we checked out they where very happy that we did'nt made a deal out of it and told us that whenever we wanted to come back they would give us a very special rate. This went oke the next year but this year they did'nt wanted to hear about it. So next time we want a promise on paper or better report it.
We are sure you going to enjoy your stay at the Fairfield over there.
