F&W Festival Food Booth Menus are up!!!

it is now finally showing on that link - it wasn't before, but it is now - and yes, i can see all the booths with food & prices! thanks!

How timely. We leave for WDW this Wednesday. I have a HUGE bottle of Pepcid Complete packed and ready to go. I see several things I want to try. Last year was our first experience with this and it was the first weekend it was open. This time I know not to go on the weekend and to go during the week and during the day. Ooops, maybe I shouldn't have shared that with everyone, maybe it will backfire on me.

;)

Thanks for sharing the link. I have printed it out and am going to highlight what I want to try.

Bon apetit everyone

We will be there at the end of the festival Nov 13 which is a Saturday-is it going to be packed? How big are the food servings? I'm not a wine drinker, but I sure do like to eat and the menus look great!

serving portions are small, not a meal that is for sure. We like to get things and each of us gets a bite or two just to sample. It is a lot of fun.

I am not sure about the last Saturday, but I know that on the weekends a lot of locals like to come and try Food and Wine. Maybe by the end of the Festival it won't be so bad, or it could be everyone getting one last chance.

Be sure and take lots of cash for this. After looking at the menu, I see about $35.00 worth of stuff I want to try.

All that and the Lunch and Learn with Paula Deen too!!!!!

I am going to need bigger clothes after this trip for sure. Thanks for posting the menus.

Linda

SnowWhite33 - If that last weekend is like it was last year, it will be very, very crowded. Lines were too long, I thought, for it to be the last weekend. Probably lots of locals.

Hi Other Snow White :)
We were there on the very last night of the festival last year, but it didn't stop us from eating our way around the world as usual (we must have spent 4 evenings doing just that last year...it's my favorite!). Some booths had pretty long lines on the last night, I think the longest we waited the whole night was about 10 minutes. The avg wait was probably like 5 minutes though. I remember Canada having a very long line, Mexico and USA too. I decided to be more adventurous that night and eat at some of the not-so-popular booths and we had a ball! The only thing that I hated was the green tea mousse from Japan, lol.

The servings are all small-appetizer sizes. I usually eat 4 or 5 of them before I'm full!

Does anyone know about how much $$$ to plan on spending for each adult meal (assuming you have 2-3 glasses wine and 3-4 appetizers)? Also, do the booths take the WDW room key/charge card as payment or do you need cash?

Lisa

Wine can be $1.50-4.50 a glass. The ice wine I had you got very little.

They do take room charges.

Prices for the appetizers vary also. It isn't cheap but it is great having so many choices.

Thanks for the link. I made a copy so I can drool between now and the time I go. Susan

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Food and Wine Fest!

THanks for letting us know the food menu is out! WOO HOO!!!

Last year I was there we had a lot of problems using either a credit card or our rooms charge. We were over charged several items each day, that is when the charge worked at the booth... I suspect there was something wrong at the booth level and with each 'attempt' I got charged. Pain

We will be using cash this time around.

Thank you...we are looking forward to our trip now more than ever! I love the banfi Rosa Regale wine. I actually had it special-ordered here in PA because I kept raving about how good it was! Everyone else wanted to try it!

So did we! Absolutley loved it and ordered 6 bottles when we came home :) We hoard them for special occasions (share? what's that? )

I wish that Japan was doing sushi. I have only had it 1 time and I would love to try it again.

They are. The Tokyo Roll. It's just a glorified California Roll but I think it has mayo in it with the orange eggs on top. Very good.

Kaki-Age Mixed Tempura Vegetables with Shrimp $2.00
