Hi. We're surprising our mom and taking her to WDW for her 80th birthday Oct 3-6. We can't wait to do the Food and Wine Festival.

Which day...Saturday or Sunday, do you think would be less crowded, or will both days be crowded?

Trying to plan! Many thanks.

Both days will be crowded as locals tend to make visits on weekends....if you could go on a weekday it will be much less crowded.

That said, if you must go on the weekend I think Saturday will be more crowded than Sunday...especially in the evening.

The day with worse weather will be less crowded- the only time I would recommend going to a weekend would be if it is raining and you don't mind getting all wet. If at all possible I would go on Monday rather than on the weekend.

Agree with the PP that Saturday would be more crowded than Sunday but both will still be very busy. I'd plan on hitting World Showcase as soon as it opens at 11 am and bypassing the first couple of booths you come to before stopping to try the food. That will help you get "ahead" of the crowds.

I agree go on Sunday at opening. However during the week is so much nicer without the crazy lines.
