We've done at least a few F&W Fest.'s. Most stuff is heated and/or cooked on the spot. I can't say the number of times I've about burnt my mouth because they gave me something right off the grill or out of the pot. I've even stood right there and watched them make more of what they were out of at the time. About the only thing that "sits there" are the items they have in the case that show you the portions....at least, in years past, they've had plates of the food under plastic cases(so you can "see" what you're getting) on the counter at each booth. Otherwise, I've never had anything that wasn't fresh, and I believe this will be our 4th or 5th year at the festival.
