F&W Adult Weekend trip question

I'm thinking of taking hubby to WDW for our anniversary the first weekend of October for Food and Wine.. I'm thinking about where we would stay.

For two adults for nice weekend away would BWV or BCV be a better choice?
I was thinking BWV might be more adult themed than BCV .. any opinions?

My other question is do DVCers have a way to get discounted cash room rates at either the GF or Poly? Do I call MS to get that or some other phone number?

You probably need to take what you can get. It may be booked up already.

No DVC discounts at anything but DVC resorts. If you have an AP, you could get an AP rate if it was available.

Both BWV and BCV are VERY popular for the Food and Wine Festival due to the close proximity. You will have a hard time getting into either one of them. Both resorts would be fine for adults only. If either one is available for the weekend you are looking for...Grab it while you can!

Call MS now - it's open. I agree with thte others. If what you want is available, book it - you have plenty of time to cancel it if your plans don't work out.

I was able to get BW studio std view for Fri/Sat night and I'm on the waitlist for Sun night at BW and BCV

We'll stay at OKW if we don't get BW or BCV..

Now on to planning the dinner reservations.. I better get going!

Book ASAP and if there is anything open at either resort take it. You are in the same area, and can easily walk to the Boardwalk if you are looking for a little night life that you think might be missing from BCV. Great location for F&W fest - good luck.

We stayed at the Boardwalk last year during F&W

Fri. and Sat. (September 28, 29) OKW and
Sun. and Mon. (October 1, 2) BWV,
and have made dinner reservations (180 days in advance)
for Kona, Boma, LeCellier and The Brown Derby !
