EZ and ME Questions

I got a total cost for 6 days for a minivan from EZ of $196, it comes under my 200 budget. Is EZ good/bad or just ok??
Also if we rent a car (keep one luggage with us just in case the rest gets lost) and send the rest with ME can we go directly to the parks?

DME isn't intended to be used as a luggage transfer service. I'm not sure, but if you don't check in with the DME desk and get your voucher checked, they may just hold your luggage at the airport. The reasoning behind DME is to entice people into NOT renting a car! But I'm sure others may have found a way around it.

I drive a DME bus. You can't use the service for luggage if you are not on the bus. When you get your tix at the DME counter it has a barcode on it and when you get on the bus someone scans that barcode to make sure you are there. If you try this your luggage may end up in a secure area in the airport.
I wouldn't want to chance that.

I wouldn't chance EZ if it were me. But be prepared for a very hard sale on insurance etc... My brother did the "cheapo off site" deal once. Only took him two hours to get the car and there were other problems. (When he returned the car, they went over it in very great detail and tried to charge him for every little scratch etc... the car had lots of miles already on it...cars get road damage, for most of the majors that is a given fact!)

If you have to shuttle to EZ (which you do) and wait in line (50/50 shot), I can't say that you are going to be any faster then ME!
