Eyebrow waxing

Just got my eyebrows waxed and plucked for the first time today! It really wasn't that bad at ALL! I was pleasantly surprised.

I'm so happy with them, they look awesome; I was so worried that she'd overdo it and make those little tiny brows that look ridiculous!

My question now is: how often do I have to go and get them done? She told me every 2 weeks - is it really that frequent? Do I pluck stray little hairs that I see appearing or leave them?

2 weeks sounds a little excessive to me, but I could be wrong. I always just pluck what I can to keep them maintained and then get them waxed each time I get a haircut - every 5-6 weeks or so.

My person said every 2 weeks too, but I don't do that. Every 4 works out just fine!

Wow I've never heard of getting your eyebrows waxed every 2 weeks but I guess everyone is different. I go about every 4-6 weeks and I have seriously thick lashes

Getting your brows waxed isn't bad at all, there are more painful things and I don't think thats so bad either

I do mine every 2 weeks, but I do them myself at home (saves $$$!).

But every 2 weeks is a little excessive if you're paying + tipping someone to do it for you in a salon...4 weeks was how long I'd wait before I figured out how to do it myself

I get mine done on occasion, and then keep the shape by plucking. I haven't had them done in a really, really long time and my brows still look good. I have good tweezers and a magnifying mirror, though.

I get the whole "Bert" eyebrow going on if I leave them alone for two months, but once a month I get them waxed and if they grow too wild in between plucking then I trim them a little bit.

im blessed to have naturally nicely shaped brows-so i get mine done when i get my hair colored-about every 6 or 8 weeks-and thats enough.

Been having my eyebrows waxed for a good 20 something years. Every 4-5 weeks seems to work well for me. Lisa
