Eye liner???

I hear you OP....so far the best I've found is the Stila marker pencil,it's a liquid all in one pen costs about $20 at Sephora and stays pretty well in summer-also it's easier to apply than the dipping brush into liquid ones......

Eyeliner is my only makeup must-have!! I had always used Mary Kay eyeliner in charcoal until I tried Revlon Colorstay in black and found it to be the same at a fraction of the price. The Revlon Colorstay is actually a bit better in that it has a removable sharpener on the end. It's totally waterproof, and costs about $5 at Walmart. HTH!!

I wish it worked for me..... I used this...but in summer I need spackle the Stila is the only thing I've found that doesn't come off.....(not the pencil tho)

I use Revlon Colorstay. It's a gel liner that comes in a tiny glass container. You unscrew the lid and the brush is inside the lid. I think it was about $8. It is AWESOME!! It goes on super smooth and easy and lasts through anything. Really....I've done yard work in it in the Texas heat and humidity and this sucker didn't even smear. I take it off with makeup remover.

I should say as a disclaimer that any eyeliner is only as good as the primer that you use under it.

I find that my smudges get fixed if I use an eyeshadow primer. Has nothing to do with the eyeliner. I use urban decay primer potion.

Exactly! If you have an Ulta near where you live, get their store brand eye liner, mascara, and eye shadow, but while you're there get the Urban Decay primer or don't bother.

Is Ulta mascara great for lengthening & thickening? I used to have a Mabelline version that I loved but they changed it. I have tried several drugstore brands with no success. I guess I could put that on the budget waste thread.

I have a considerable amount of eyeliners, have tried different brands but nothing, seriously nothing works for me like Maybelline's Gel Liner

I swear by this, it stays put all day (and once when I fell asleep on my make up, for the whole 24 hrs the packaging swears lol), it's so easy to apply and the brush that comes with it is great.

The most insane thing about this? It's $8! After all the money I spent on eyeliner before I discovered this, it's my HG now.

Right now I'm using Clinque eye gel liner. IT cosmetics has come out with a new eye liner called Liner Love Waterproof gel eye liner which has sparked my interest. Go to QVC.com, it's on there and they usually have videos that go along with it. I will be trying that next once my Clinque runs out. But, I have been pleased with Clinque. Just want to try something new.

My fave is Physician's Formula Shimmer Strips . They come in boxes with 3 different shades and are available for different eye colors or for all eye colors.

It isn't quite waterproof, but is 24 hr wear and water resistant.

I have to say I love Bobby Brown Gel liner, but gel dries up so fast you need to be very careful to always keep the cap on tight. This past weelend a relative who is a makeup artist highly recomemded Kat VonD eyeliner at sepora, cost about $18. she swears by it but I havent tried it yet.

I've used the one that's in the hot pink bottle and yes, that one lengthens and thickens. I have long lashes, but when I use that one my lashes touch my eyebrows! I want to try the silver one, that's supposed to be the most lengthening, but it's always sold out when I go to our Ulta store. I use the waterproof one, in the light blue bottle, when I need waterproofing. That one thickens, but doesn't lengthen. They're often 2 for $10 so it's not a budget-buster.

Thanks! I will try that next. I was over there yesterday and bought the small size Tarte - Lights, Camera, Lashes based on the online reviews. We'll see.

I was not very impressed with our Ulta - several samples were missing, it was messy in several areas with products not in the right spots and several missing products. It was not like that the last time I was in (it's been awhile) so not sure what's going on over there.
