I told my niece who brought her 18 month over tonight- NEXT YEAR we are walking around the neigborhood with SIL and her kids and tons of others! Forget about giving out candy- we are tagging along with them......and they even have a wagon for the cooler! they dont mess around!

Same here- not as many kids as usual- we had about 45! but it was not raining- it was a beautiful night- around 60 degrees- a few family members came over- we hung out on the screened in porch- drank some wine, beer, ate pizza, gave out candy- it was a great time.

I like the "candy" you have found. When I got home from work tonight, it was 10 minutes before the town's trick or treat curfew, and my folks had been gone with the twins for most of it. I was laughing when I saw a bowl of candy by the door and no one home to hand it out!

And I'm behind in the ?otd....no, never been a pirate, but wanted to this year. But with school, work, and getting sick, I ended up not going anywhere "costume friendly". Plus, I want one of the more um, wenchy costumes, shall we say, and I need to lose a few pounds for that first!
Congrats on you wenches fitting into smaller sizes, pass on those skinny vibes this way...I need all the help I can get!

hello wenches! how was everyone's halloween?? mine was ok.

course it's my favorite holiday!

so i only saw about 3 pirates today! *sad* but some kids had some really great costumes. we didn't have many. although i came to DF's house to hand out candy(So i could stay far away from my mother) and there's more kids on my street, but i still enjoyed it.

course my mother decided to ruin the rest of the night by calling and screaming at me on the phone because my work called the house when she was "Sleeping" (at 7:30 at night, none the less) so after that the rest of the night was kind of blah. but up until then it was pretty good!

Glad you had fun handing out candy at DFs house...I know this is your favorite holiday you said...
