Extreme!!

As a Disney Bride '05 I was thinking of signing up. How long does it run for? Being on maternity leave, I have extra time until after the holidays!

I would plan for a couple of months. I forgot who mentioned it but it does start off as a team competition and then goes to an individual competition. I wish all of you the best of luck. The prizes look GREAT!!!! If you haven't seen the prizes, click on the link at the top of the forum.

Hmmm, I'd like to play, so I've messaged them asking if I could register as I am in the UK, it sounds fun!

Anyone know when this is going to start? I don't want to sign up and find out it starts while I'm getting married or on our honeymoon. WE are getting married on Dec. 11th...

The judges will let us know if we made it on a team after Thanksgiving.

They are hoping to start the competition on December 1, but that COULD change based on the number of people playing.

Lots of folks have vacations and such planned during those times...and depending on the dates you will be unavailable, and your team...you might still be able to play. I'm not really sure...

I applied for the audience. With starting a new job, the wedding and a second reception I am afraid I will to busy to play. But I will be here cheering for all of you :cheer2:

I don't get it. What does this involve? What do you have to do that is so time consuming? :confused3

They give you a project such as 'construct a perfect tour of your state with the 4 most fascinating stops.' Then you have to write a step by step 'vacation log' of what the tourist would see, do, where they would eat, you need to add pictures, use accurate mileage, research historical information about the places, etc... People build their own websites for these things. It gets outta control with creativity and time put into it! It's really cool & so much fun, but the one time I did it it was way too much!

Good Luck Everyone that plays.

During the competition, I will also be away, at WDW and on the Holiday Disney Magic Cruise, from the 5th to the 27th December, but I wish you all a lot of luck.

Thanks again for coming to the rescue :) That's definitely extreme!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Hi! I decided to apply for the audience only. I am headed back to work in January after a 3 month maternity leave...not sure how much time I will have between the baby, DD5, DH, the house AND work!! I even have a master's degree in Computer Education with web design background...aaahhh a master's going to waste if I can't use it on the DIS! :rotfl2:

Have lots of fun...can't wait to see how this unfolds.
