I financed my last add one ( I know..I KNOW) and I Bill Pay them extra chunks druing the month...this is the second time this has happened..I check my loan page and it shows the extra principle payment divided into principle and INTEREST instead of just principle..the last time this happened they didn't take out my loan amount since they applied the extra payment as a loan payment..what a mess. It took a bit to fix and now I get to look forward to that phone call again.
My question: when you pay through the DVC addtional principle, that is put on a CC right? Has anyone ever had this payment messed up like my Bill Pay one? I'm thinking I should just put the extra on a CC and then pay that with the Bill Pay so this won't happen in the future. Any suggestions?

We never had a problem, but we were signed up for automatic withdrawal and would wait until that happen to pay extra with the CC each month.

Happened three times to me and I just said forget and paid off something else rather than the Disney loan...it was easier than dealing with the phone calls.

Same here, we tried it once and decided to wait and pay each contract off in it's entirety when the CC companies special reward deals come up.

The same thing happens at most mortgage companies. You can mail them a check with a note stated prinicpal only payment and note it in memo that should do the trick. Without flashy colors and stuff.. most people barely look and assume.
