Extra magic hours for DVC members not staying on property?

I'm going to Disneyland in July but I'm also going to a conference in LA so my employer is putting me in a hotel in the city. Any chance DVC members can take advantage of extra magic hours at Disneyland even if not staying on property? I am guessing not, but this would be a perk that doesn't cost Disney anything so I thought I'd ask. Thanks all!

Depending on your ticket type, some include Early Mornings at Disneyland. You should be able to find this feature on multi-day hoppers -- possibly even those sold through your conference. (The early entrance is a function of the ticket -- not your DVC membership.)

I'm 99.99999% positive that convention type tickets do NOT include early hours.
