extra Magic Bands

So I am sure someone has asked this, but I am just not up to searching for the answer.

So we got our AP MB a few week ago and Disney is about to ship our MB for our resort stay. Can I link them or am I stuck with both? I am not finding the option on MDE unless I am just missing it.

You should be able to just use them interchangeably. You can "Unlink" one of them if you want, but personally, I would keep one as a backup!

Nothing is stored on the bands, they simply link to your MDEx account and read the information there. So, as the PP said, you will be able to use your bands interchangeably. Both will read the same information. We choose a different color each time.

Technically, you should be able to use them interchangeable and for FP+ you will...

However, based on the experience I just had the last few day, you might want to be careful. I used my Passholder band and did not get a band linked to my stay (wasteful)... Anyway, the Passholder band was completely linked in the MDX account, etc...

Well, the Passholder band first did not open my room. So, I had to return to the front desk and have them make sure my band linked to the room. Then I went over to Epcot and went to charge something and showed I had not linked a credit card (which is completely untrue)... So, I had to return to the resort and have them re-liink my credit card to my Passholder band...

It was very frustrating and they have not had a lot of experience yet with guests having multiple bands and using one from a previous (or Passholder) visit...

We had three magic bands a piece for our last trip. It went off without a hitch. We switched bands often and each of them always worked for FP+, purchasing, and room entry without a problem.

We have 4 for our upcoming trip. 5 if our AP ones come in time.
