As a Yankee fan my only concern for todays game between The Twins and Tigers is that they get NICE AND TIRED for tomorrow! (but I have to admit I would rather have the Yankees play the Twins vs. the Tigers)

They are in the 10th inning right now! Keep it up boys!

I told DH the game needed to be over by 10:00 as there is one show I watch "The Good Wife" and one I want to record "The Forgotten". He laughed at me. I can't believe they are about to start the 12th inning. Geez.

I don't know if that's really good for the Yankees. On paper, yes, the Yankees should win, but the Twins are on some kind of a roll right now....they were losing this game after the top of the first, came back, went ahead, lost the lead, Tigers went ahead, Twins tied it again, and now they've won.

It's funny bc my 3 year old has a MLB comforter in his room and we always talk about our favorite teams. Mine is the Yankees...he picked the Twins a few months ago (I think bc of the logo but that's besides the point!) So we will have our first playoff feud...should be fun!

The umpire was making bad calls all night on both sides. I hate when that happens.

It's not that I don't like the Twins, it's more of a family rivalry. They love the Packers and I despise them and love the Minn Vikings. It's all in good fun. I'm not bitter about the loss. I just love a good game though.

On to Hockey. Go Wings!!!!!

It brushed his shirt and there was NO WAY an ump was going to give that call knowing that it would win the game to walk in a runner.

Twins will probably win the 1st game and Yankees win the next 3.

On Mike and Mike this morning they are going on and on how if the Twins win it would be one of the greatest upset in history.

The Yankee's are 103-59 with the best record in all of MLB on the season, the Twins are 87-76. I don't think their late season winning streak will mean anything.

Me too. I love a close, hard fought game, even if we lose, but I hate when so much hinges on questionable calls.
