Is MK still doing the extra hours that you pay extra for? Reason I ask, I looked at one of my dates Sept. 27 on the Disney app and it has MK am special event 7:45-9am. The regular website doesn't show it.

The morning event was continued past the original dates. The evening event was not.

Does this remove rope drop advantage?
From what I have read (not firsthand experience), the number of people who get in on this paid early entry is so small that it has almost no effect on other park-goers. It might affect the people who were doing pre-park-opening Be Our Guest reservations a little bit, but for the average "go at rope drop" person, it won't be a noticeable difference.

We usually would RD at 8:45 (be let in early for a 9am opening). What time have people been allowed in at RD with EMM, anyone know?

That date also has n unusually early closing time of 8PM for MK. Hope some of the late September hours get extended. 7, 8 and 9 every night we are there. Two are for MNSSHP.

I did it on May 14, there was hardly anyone around. They wouldn't let us stay in the car for 7DMT but we got off and right back into the queue (from the second fastpass touchpoint) with hardly anyone in front of us.

Reports I read said that regular rope drop happened exactly as usual, so folks were let in about 8:45 even on those special event mornings.

Boooooo..... Just found out now on our Monday park day for HS, they are having EMM AND for our Tuesday for MK!!!! We only have three park days! :worried::headache:
