Normally, I wouldn't have this issue, and I know it's not really that bad of an issue, but one none the less. Due to our flight schedule and the inline marathon, it looks like we will have some unuseable CS credits and perhaps many snack credits. And being that you can't take food or drink on the plane anymore from outside the airport, I'm in a bit of a pickle...no food pun intended....ok, maybe just a little.;)

Day One - Should arrive to OKW @ 10:45PM if all goes as planned with flight.

Day Two - no counterservice b/fast at OKW for DH? - MGM Day
-lunch @ Sci-Fi TS
-dinner @ CS

Day Three - Early inline race - no b/fast except energy bar
-lunch @ EoS CS
-dinner @ Ohana TS

Day 4 - MK Day - b/fast in room? -
-lunch @ CS
-dinner @ Tony's TS

Day 5 - Last day, early flight
-b/fast @ CMs 7AM TS

Ok, so by the looks of all that we would have one CS left...not bad. Any creative way to use this at OKW or anywhere for b/fast? When we get to the parks, we're all about doing the rides so I'd hate to waste time for b/fast. Although getting DH a danish and milk might be an option.

And snacks....I have to review the list again, but do a lot of you use them on candy/cookies etc. to put in luggage to take home? This might be our only option...oh wait, TAFFY!!! Taffy is good....easy to take back! I digress...we may use a few for bottled H2O at the parks as well.

Any input on my craziness would be appreciated!!! :worship:

You can take food on the airplane, as long as it isn't liquid/gel. So go ahead and stock up on Krispie Mickey's, snack mixes, etc. You can also always put the in your checked luggage and have a quick Disney moment at home when you have the snack.

You should be able to grab a quick CS breakfast somewhere. OKW has Goods to Go for a CS breakfast.

Enjoy!

I'm sure I've read somewhere that you can use a CS to grab a sandwich and cookie or similar from most hotel restaurants, so you could maybe eat that at the airport!

What has been posted is correct. You CAN bring food through security, as long as it is not liquid.

This is what we did in December! We had 8 counter service credits left over by the end of the trip. Also had a couple snack credits. We went to the POP Food Court on the last day and she told us they would exchange each counter service meal for one drink and two snacks. We ended up picking up a couple of sandwiches for our flights home and bottles of juice to drink on the way to the airport. Then we grabbed Mickey Pretzels, two of the big boxes of doughnuts (which took ALL the room in my suitcase! :rotfl: ) and four Mickey Mouse Rice Crispie treats!

On our last day, we went to Earl of Sandwich and got our CS meal to go. Then we went to Goofy's candy shop and spent our remaining snack credits, lots of things to choose from.

We went to Goofy's Candy Co at the end of our trip and used up all our snack credts we had left. We brought back Mickey suckers, Krispie treats, boxes of cookies, etc. My daughter gave these to her friends as gifts. Anything in the store that is 4.00 or less they let us buy. We had 12 credits left. My son headed over to earl of Sandwich and got a sandwich to eat on the plane with the last CS we had left.:)

Duh! Silly me!

Thanks for all your responses! I completely forgot about pretzils, etc., and the fact you can bring food on board, just not liquid. That's why I posted....you guys help me with the obvious when I'm making it too difficult.

Your ideas are really helpful, but I can't think where Goofy's Candy Store is. :)

You could also use some of your snack and your remaining cs credit for quick breakfasts in a couple of the parks.

At the Main street bakery or starring rolls, 1 cs gets you two items and a drink. Or many of the pastries (and milk) are a snack credit.

the morning we left as we had 13 cs left. She tried to pay me, but I told her na thanks, check out the dis. We ended up with like 13 mickey bars in the carry on. Not to mention the 8 mickey big jawbreakers, 4 big suckers, 6 bags of jelly beans, 2 of the bags of sweat tart candys, a bag of pretzles. We were there for 10 days x the 4 of us. Had a lot left over. The only thing is, We bought candy one day at a stoe went back the next and were told different. Same store in mk, early dec. That you couldnt get the candy and treats from the stores anymore. The customer service lady at the hotel said thats right only from the carts listed "stores" on the ddp broc. I pointed out right on the broc. Thats not correct becouse the gift shop right there ( at CSR counter) lets you use snack credits and thier not in this broc. She just stared at me. But its true there are so many things that will work one place but not the other.

When we were there last year, several times I saw people buying CS or snacks for the people behind or in front of them. I thought that was a good way to use them, but alas, I have a hungry bunch and we left no credit unused:rotfl:

Hey Mum...that is exactly what I did with our credits as we got near the end of our trip. I would buy lunch for unsuspecting people! It was a lot of fun...one lady actually cried. She and her DD had be counting their cash to see what they could afford to share...I love momments like that.:cloud9:

HANNABELLE-
THAT WAS WONDERFUL OF YOUprincess:

HERE'S WISHING ALOT OF PIXIE DUST TO COME YOUR WAY:cheer2:

I'm sure it's here somewhere but the search won't work for me-can anyone share where the Mickey Rice Krispy Bars can be purchased? I promise to leave some for you! Thanks so much!
