I'm planning on bringing my blow dryer with me and I've read that an extension cord is useful. Can someone explain why?

There is only like one outlet (?) in the room - The extension cord is good to plug in the blow dryer, travel clock, battery charger (for camera), curling iron, etc. We brought one along and it really did come in handy - We used ours to plug the nightlight in -

I had to use our extension because the outlet I wanted to plug my blow dryer in did not fit. The space between the vanity and mirror was not big enough for that type of plug.

But then again, I have massive thick hair so I almost need a wind tunnel! I guessed beforehand that the DCL dryers would probably not be enough.

For children who won't listen to you and for a spouse who will...

BD, funny as always!

Seriously, we took a power strip. It gave us a lot more usable outlets for the space.

If you have a video camera that needs charging, 2 way radios, nightlight (it gets DARK in those inside cabins!) cell phone charger, etc. you need those extra slots!

As people have said, there is a standard 2 plug outlet by the desk/mirror. There is also a standard 2 plug outlet that the TV plugs into (it's behind the TV). The outlet in the bathroom is the kind usable for shavers, so isn't full strength.

Some sort of extra plug ins are a necessity!
